A Common Enemy, A Common Goal....

Perhaps the question is just too simplistic to ask. Perhaps it’s a matter of not being able to see the forest for the trees. Maybe it’s just a refusal to believe what is seen with our own eyes. It could be an inability to get past our own petty bickering.

No matter what the answer to the question happens to be, it’s past time for the free world to wake up!

The question posed is this;
Why can’t the free world understand that they must unite to defeat the Islamofascist terrorists? Why can they grasp the fact that this is everyone’s war? If the Islamofascist terrorists win, everyone else loses! It won’t matter if you’re a Republican or Democrat. It won’t count for anything if you’re French, Chinese or something else…If you’re not willing to become a follower of Islam the party will be over.

It’s totally understandable that the world will never be in complete agreement. It’s probably a good thing we aren’t. But when we face a common enemy, it’s time to rise to the occasion.

There was an extremely insightful article posted on the Times Online website. The article gives cause for hope to the free world as well as a wake-up call. The article deals primarily with Hezbollah and the current war to free the Middle East from the terror Hezbollah provides. The title of the article is “Terrorism is rotting the Islamic revolution it craves.”

Here’s an excerpt:

It challenges western-style nationalist, liberal, democratic, socialist and communist parties. It also prevents theological discussions that would reveal divisions within Islam, even inside rival Sunni and Shi’ite camps.

Inside the Muslim world rival sects persecute and murder each other because of religious differences. The Egyptian government does not allow Shi’ites to have a mosque in Cairo while the Khomeinist regime denies that right to Sunnis in Tehran. Sectarian killings have become part of daily life in some Muslim countries, most glaringly in Pakistan and Iraq.”

A Real Inconvenient Truth

Once again it comes to light… Al Gore does not speak for the majority of scientists. Al’s stretching the truth. It may be getting deep, but according to many scientists it’s something other than ocean water.

Now, most are willing to give Al credit for inventing the internet, but we all know Al is no scientist.

So what do real life scientists have to say about it?

Richard S. Lindzen is the Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Atmospheric Science at MIT. Mr. Lindzen, writing for the Wall Street Journal tells the real story on the Opinion Journal page. Professor Lindzen article is titled “Don't Believe the Hype”

Here’s an excerpt from “Don’t Believe the Hype”

“According to Al Gore's new film "An Inconvenient Truth," we're in for "a planetary emergency": melting ice sheets, huge increases in sea levels, more and stronger hurricanes, and invasions of tropical disease, among other cataclysms--unless we change the way we live now.
Bill Clinton has become the latest evangelist for Mr. Gore's gospel, proclaiming that current weather events show that he and Mr. Gore were right about global warming, and we are all suffering the consequences of President Bush's obtuseness on the matter. And why not? Mr. Gore assures us that "the debate in the scientific community is over."
That statement, which Mr. Gore made in an interview with George Stephanopoulos on ABC, ought to have been followed by an asterisk. What exactly is this debate that Mr. Gore is referring to? Is there really a scientific community that is debating all these issues and then somehow agreeing in unison? Far from such a thing being over, it has never been clear to me what this "debate" actually is in the first place.”

End of the Trail for Chief Churchill?

In the case of Chief Ward Churchill, how wise he looks, well, it’s a matter of debate. However, clever as Churchill may have seemed to have been, wisdom has not been his strong suit…

Seems that the truth has been reveled and the axe is going to fall. Ward’s neck is on the block. University of Colorado’s Interim Chancellor Phil DiStefano put the word out yesterday, June 27th.

"Today, I issued to Professor Churchill a notice of intent to dismiss him from his faculty position at the University of Colorado Boulder,"

This, according to an article posted on NewsMax.Com

Certainly Chief Churchill intends to sue the university….The matter is far from over, but at least Churchill will be spewing his anti-American hate in a court of law and not in a classroom. Of course as anti-American as Churchill sounds and no doubt is, it isn’t his political ranting that have cost him his job.

There is evidence apparently that Churchill likes to take other people’s written work and claim it as his own… Can you say plagiarism? Not only that, he is accused of just making up facts.

Here’s another bit of NewsMax.Com’s article to illustrate;

“The entire Churchill episode began when it came to light that he wrote, in an essay about 9/11, that those who died in the World Trade Center bombing were "little Eichmanns."

That statement was found to be protected under free speech rights; however, the trouble was not over for Ward Churchill.

"A committee last year began to look at his writings including his essay on 9/11," said DiStefano. "We determined his writings were protected under the First Amendment. However, during that process there were allegations of research misconduct."

Last month, an investigative subcommittee concluded that Churchill repeatedly fabricated his research, plagiarized others' work and strayed from the "bedrock principles of scholarship," reports the Denver Post.”

It’s good for the students and the faculty of the University of Colorado to be rid of the likes of Ward Churchill. It’s a shame that so many students have been influenced by such an unprincipled fraud.

Finding Christ Through A Dream

People that have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior, all have their own unique stories to tell. Each one has a testimony of their individual encounter with Christ.

The circumstances that bring about those Divine encounters are often as unique as the encounters themselves.

Here is an amazing story of a young West African, a Muslim man. Read about the unique journey on which he embarked, never expecting a soul saving experience with Jesus Christ.

The story was related by Mark Ellis a Senior Correspondent with the ASSIST News Service.

The title of the article is simply;

“West African Muslim led to Christ through a dream” it appears here in it’s entirety.

GHANA, WEST AFRICA (ANS) -- Two young Muslims left the savannah of West Africa to study Islam in Mecca, their educational expenses paid by the largesse of the Saudi government. But after they returned home a dreadful automobile accident altered their lives in a way that had enduring consequences.

“They were recipients of a scholarship scheme hatched by oil-rich Saudi Arabia,” says Pastor Yusif, a national missionary active in West Africa. Pastor Yusif notes that many young men in this region of Ghana participate in the Saudi educational program, with hundreds waiting their turn.

The two cousins—Rafiq and Razak, excelled at their studies in Mecca and returned as budding Islamic scholars. “Troops of friends and family went to the airport to meet them,” Pastor Yusif recalls. “For weeks well-wishers thronged their home to greet them.”

Their return was during the harmattan season, when dry dusty winds blow off the Sahara desert creating a thick fog, making many irritable and wreaking havoc with airline flights. A feast held for the men was a welcome interruption from the dust storms. “There was plenty to eat all day long,” Pastor Yusif remembers. Loud speakers blared Koranic recitations into the air during the banquet.

“They were highly respected young men who did their best to teach the tenets of Islam,” Pastor Yusif says. “They were admired for their zeal and scholarship.”

A short time later, the men were invited to teach at schools and mosques in surrounding villages, where they impressed Ghanaians with their ability to speak Arabic, which they described as a “heavenly language.”

One evening Rafiz and Razak accepted an invitation to speak at a nearby village. As they traveled down a dirt road through the savannah they got caught in a dust storm, lost control of their car, and careened off the road into a ravine. Their vehicle was badly mangled and Rafiq died on arrival at a regional hospital. Razak lingered in a coma for two days.

Then something unusual happened. “While Razak was in a coma, his cousin appeared to him in a dream and warned: ‘Razak, I don’t like where I am. I am shocked and lost. There is no way I can go near God Almighty. I am millions of miles away from Him. My deeds could not do me any good. But it is too late for me. Please find a Bible. Find Anabi Issah (Jesus)!’

When Razak regained consciousness, his first request was to see his cousin. The nurses withheld the truth from him, fearing the added stress might delay his recovery. Inwardly, he began to suspect the worst—Rafiq was dead. After several weeks convalescing, Razak was finally discharged from the hospital. Before his release, he learned of his cousin’s sad demise.

Razak had a second powerful dream a few days after he left. The dream came to him just before dawn, when the muezzin makes his plaintive and melodious cry inviting faithful Muslims to their first obligatory prayer of the morning.

In Razak’s second dream his departed cousin gave the same warning: ‘Find a Bible and find Jesus.’

Razak woke up in a cold sweat. How in the world could he find Jesus and become a Christian? He feared that if he became a Christian, he would be “skinned alive” by his uncle, the chief imam of a large mosque. Razak also knew that if he became a Christian he would be ostracized by his family and friends.

He wrestled with the teachings of Islam driven into him during his studies in Mecca: ‘Jesus did not die on the cross…Jesus is not the Son of God…God does not exist in three persons.’ His instructors told him the Koran pronounces curses on whoever believes in these “heresies.”

A few months later, Razak went to Friday noon prayers at the mosque, but Rafiq’s message continued to unsettle him: ‘Find a Bible; Find Jesus.’ After he returned from the mosque he couldn’t take it any longer. He remembered a Christian acquaintance from school named Peter and decided to track him down.

A few days later he found his schoolmate and borrowed a Bible. He began to devour the pages, finding particular inspiration in Matthew chapters 5-7, John 3:16, and Ephesians 2. He wondered how God could hate sin and love sinners at the same time. But after much soul-searching, reflection and prayer he gave his life to Jesus. “He accepted the grace of God through Christ for the forgiveness of sins,” says Pastor Yusif.

Peter, his Christian friend, continued to pray with Razak for weeks. Razak still made his obligatory visits to the mosque, but once inside he recited long passages he memorized from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount.

Finally, he couldn’t continue as a secret Christian. He confessed his new faith openly to his friends and family. He told them he would no longer go to the mosque.

They were upset, angry, and stunned. Razak’s uncle met with him and began to pressure Razak to change his mind. Lucrative incentives to recant were dangled like shiny jewels before his eyes. But Razak refused to renounce his newfound faith in Jesus.

A few days later, Razak learned his uncle and some others from the mosque were plotting to poison him. A friend came under cover of darkness to warn a price tag was placed on Razak’s head.

After many tears were shed, Razak left his family home and traveled several hundred miles to ‘Oniza,’ a safer town for him to live, where he continues to share his faith with others.

“Pray that Razak would grow in his faith in Christ and lead many to Him,” Pastor Yusif says. “Pray for the Lord’s protection as he is still being hunted, and pray the Lord would use him mightily in Kingdom work.”

The Greatest Play in Major League Baseball

There have been many great moments in American Major League Baseball. Many great stories have been told about many great players. It is said that baseball is America’s national pastime, it certainly is our game.

Whether or not you’re a baseball fan, or even a sports fan doesn’t really matter. I’m a fan of America. Once in a while, without warning, we get to witness someone being a hero.

This is the sort of event that breaks the heart of the American Civil Liberties Union. When it happened the ACLU was helpless…..

The event I’m referring to took place thirty years ago, but thanks to MLB.com you can witness it again right now.

The hero of the day was Rick Monday. The place was Dodger Stadium, the date April 25, 1976.

Chip, chip, chip.....Chipping away at America's proud heritage!

America has suffered another loss to the anti-American, communist rooted ACLU.

Ruling on a 15-year-old ACLU case, a federal judge today ordered the city of San Diego to remove a mountain-top cross within 90 days or face a fine of $5,000 a day.

U.S. District Judge Gordon Thompson said, "It is now time, and perhaps long overdue, for this court to enforce its initial permanent injunction forbidding the presence of the Mount Soledad cross on city property," the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

Thompson ruled in 1991 the Mount Soledad cross violates the so-called "separation of church and state" but the case has remained in courts and become an issue of public policy for more than a decade.

ACLU lawyer James McElroy believes San Diego officials finally will give up their fight.

"I don't think the city has its heart in taking more action," he said, according to the paper.

A city lawyer argued during the hour-long court hearing today that citizens had voted for transfer of the land under the cross.

Proposition A, passed by 75 percent in July, called for the city to donate the cross to the federal government as the centerpiece of a veterans memorial.

The ballot initiative came about after the city refused to donate the cross and memorial to the federal government. A group called San Diegans for the Mount Soledad National War Memorial took just 23 days to gather 105,000 signatures.

In a ruling now on appeal, however, a Superior Court judge found the transfer unconstitutional.

The Union-Tribune said the group behind the public vote on transfer likely will appeal Thompson's decision.

The 29-foot cross has stood on Mount Soledad as the center of a war memorial on city land since 1954. The first cross on the site was built in 1913.

A bill authorizing the federal government to take over the memorial was authored by Republican U.S. Reps. Duncan Hunter and Randy Cunningham. President Bush signed the bill into law in December.

The ACLU are constantly seeking to censor America's history. In my interview with former ACLU lawyer, Rees Lloyd, it was described to me with clarity.

Lloyd said:

The ACLU has become a fanatical anti-faith Taliban of American religious secularism."
"The ACLU is involved in the secular cleansing of our history. This is not just a fight about free exercise, but about the protection of our American history. The ACLU want to deny America the knowledge of their Christian heritage."

Or, as Alan Sears says: The ACLU is America's number one religious censor.

The ACLU and the judicial activists are destroying our heritage, and they are doing it with our tax dollars.

May Day, May Day

Will there be any positive gain from the May Day Boycotts?

It would seem that quite possibly there will be some gain… In many ways the boycott will serve to draw out the truth and expose the real motives of the illegal aliens and their supporters.

There are laws in place, and in need of enforcement…indeed the laws must be strengthened.

America cannot continue playing politics with the illegal alien problem…it’s time to grab this bull by the horns!!!

Mexican nationalists have a place to take their nationalism, Mexico.

Enough of the hyphened America! Only one word is needed to define an American that is simply “American”. If one feels the need to be defined as a “wherever”- American, perhaps they should return to “wherever”. A choice has to be made, an allegiance has to be pledged and a culture needs to be embraced…

The resolution to the illegal alien debacle must be in America’s best interest, politics aside.

We need absolute strict border security as well as enforcement. There must be automatic detention, no quick release, there must be instant deportation. The idea of any extension of amnesty must be rejected.

America must avoid any short-sighted plans of “fast-track” citizenship. It is not impossible to become an American citizen, fill out the paper-work and wait your turn in line.

America must impose strong penalties on employers that hire illegals.

New immigrants coming to America through proper legal channels must be Americanized. Learn the language (English), adopt the culture, and embrace the nation; that will come from a love for their new homeland.

Legislation must be passed concerning the birthright citizenship of children born in America to undocumented immigrants. Children born in America to undocumented immigrants (illegal aliens) should not receive automatic citizenship or the rights and privileges of legal citizenship.

Expect a strong backlash to the May Day debacle, mass arrests should be made and illegals deported….

Simply Illegal….

President Teddy Roosevelt has long been one of my heroes.. Teddy was a man’s man. He had a strong faith and he was not afraid to speak of it.

This is one of my favorite TR quotes;

“After a week of perplexing problems…it does so rest my soul to come into the house of the Lord and to sing and mean it, “Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty….(my) great joy and glory that, in occupying an exalted position in the nation, I am enabled, to preach the practical moralities of the Bible to my fellow-countrymen and to hold up Christ as the hope and Savior of the world” Teddy Roosevelt 1909

Theodore Roosevelt possessed great wisdom and a gift for conveying it. He was plain spoken, easily understood and passionate in his convictions.

Another, very timely Teddy Roosevelt quotation speaks to the current immigration problem.

“"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
Written in 1919.

That just about spells it out for us, doesn’t it? President Roosevelt wasn’t and still isn’t out of the main stream of thought concerning immigration. He was just stating the obvious; one would expect to find those requirements no matter where one was going to immigrate.

Consider this bit of advice from Mexperience.com;

“What kinds of people successfully moved to Mexico? There are many examples of Britons, Americans, Canadians Germans and Japanese as well as other nationalities who have successfully moved to Mexico, and enjoy a great life, independently, with their partners, their families or in retirement. The common thread of the most successful 'case studies' is that these people strived to integrate themselves and their family within the Mexican Communities where they lived. They learned Spanish, they accepted Mexico's customs, lived and shared in their ways and festivities. They gave up their 'old' ways, and accepted that 'things over here' are different, but not necessarily worse than 'things at home' - and for them - Mexico becomes home away from home; or even, just home. It is this open-minded approach that is critical to really appreciate Mexico and enjoy living there.”

It’s just normal to assimilate into ones new country and culture, to join them. Learn the language, adjust to the culture and embrace the customs and traditions. Even obedience to the rules and laws is not too much to be required. So how do we arrive at the term “illegal alien”? Why would anyone fitting that description expect to be accepted into a nation or culture?
This is what the term “illegal alien” means; it’s not really difficult to understand;

I looked those words up, this is not my opinion, and this is simply the definition of the words. There is no need for debate, the meaning is quite clear.

Here are another couple of words just for the purpose of clarification.
Immigrate

(v. t.) To come into a country of which one is not a native, for the purpose of permanent residence. See Emigrate.

Immigration

(n.) The act of immigrating; the passing or coming into a country for the purpose of permanent residence.

If a person’s behavior or actions are unlawful or illegal the law or laws they are breaking should be enforced. Simply because many are defiantly breaking the law makes it no less illegal.

It matters little to me how many protests and boycotts take place. It matters little to me how many thousands of brazen illegal aliens dare to participate in those protests and boycotts.
If an alien wishes to become an immigrant, that is, wishes to become a permanent resident, application for citizenship must be made.
Until and unless the current immigration laws are amended or changed strict enforcement of the law is a must.

As we see the “protest marches”, Mexican flags, boycotts and the demands from “illegal aliens” and their sympathizers continue, there will be a reaction. Law abiding citizens will counter these assaults..

It is blatantly obvious that the communist group A.N.S.W.E.R and the Mexica Movement are the chief motivators here. It is perhaps a good thing they are doing for us. It is a great wake up call for many, forcing the issue of “illegal aliens” to be dealt at last. At the same time we are getting more exposure to the true nature of the anti-American Mexica Movement and the communist treachery promoted by A.N.S.W.E.R. ..

How long Americans will continue to tolerate this current mayhem is anyone’s guess.. Expect to see lists of employers that hire illegal aliens posted. There will be petitions to signs, products and businesses to boycott. I would expect to see American tourism to Mexico drop off and demands to cut foreign aid to Mexico as well.

The problem can easily be solved…..simply obey the law!!!! Get in line, fill out the paperwork and become loyal American citizens.

There is an alternative, return to Mexico……..

“the look of a deer in the headlights”

If you travel the roads and highways in this part of the country it’s necessary to remain alert. There is an abundance of deer in the area. It’s not uncommon to see these graceful beasts bounding across a field or stepping out of the woods. The deer can move so swiftly they seem to appear out of nowhere. Suddenly they are there and you had better react quickly. There’s a strange phenomenon associated with deer. If you happen upon one crossing the road at night they often look into the headlights and freeze as if they were hypnotized. If fortune is with you and you’ve been praying, perhaps you’ll have enough time to get your vehicle stopped. Often it’s not necessary, but flashing your lights and honking the horn will break the spell and everyone goes on with life…

We call that stunned, hypnotized reaction to the headlights “the look of a deer in the headlights” the description is not real clever but once you see it you’ll understand the look.

That “look” can be found on the human face as well…stunned, hypnotized, unable to react, no doubt the effects of fear.

The “look of a deer in the headlights” pretty well describes the expression on the face of the European Union right now!

As Iranian President Ahmadinejad and company become increasingly more belligerent, the EU seems unable to react. Someone had better flash the lights and honk the horn...somebody’s going to get hurt! The word is that Tehran has ballistic missiles that are capable of reaching deep into Europe. Combine that bit of knowledge with Ahmadinejad’s mad hunger for nuclear weapons and Europe’s got big problems. Kids, it’s no time to freeze up!

While it’s true the madman Ahmadinejad has promised to wipe Israel off the map, Europe is in his sights too.

Revolutionary Guards air force chief General Hussein Salami told Iranian TV the Fajr-3 missile:

"Can simultaneously hit several targets, has near stealth capabilities with a high maneuverability, pinpoint accuracy and radar avoidance features.”

As if missiles through the air were not enough of a threat from Iran, today there’s a report of an underwater missile test.

The Islamic Republic News Agency reported this;

“Iran-Maneuver-Missile

Iran on Sunday successfully test fired its fastest underwater missile in the `Holy Prophet war games' northwest of Persian Gulf.

Deputy commander of the Navy Forces of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) General Ali Fadavi told Central News Bureau (Islamic Republic of Iran's Broadcasting) that the domestically made missile, called `Hut', hits its target with a maximum speed of 100 meters per second.”

It would seem with the unrest inside Iran that the clock is ticking for Mr. Ahmadinejad. Will he act quickly enough to head off the pressure from within Iran or will the pressure from the US, the UN, Israel and the wobbly kneed EU be great enough to stop him?

More Than Surrender

The smoky little club was far from full that night. Nevertheless, the small crowd had their Tuborg and they had “Champion Jack Dupree”. Jack was tickling the ivories, relating the blues and the crowd was soaking it up. It was an intimate gathering, though we were mostly strangers, we knew what we enjoyed and this was it…
What a way to spend an evening in Copenhagen! It was great! I don’t recall the name of that little club, it really doesn’t matter anymore. That was a long time ago and far away, but it’s one of the fond memories of Denmark that I cherish.

Today it’s a different world….Oh, Tuborg is still being brewed in Denmark, but “Champion Jack Dupree” departed this life in 1991 though you can still listen to him on CDs. Denmark is different, it’s lost something. It’s somehow been perhaps too nice a place, a little too willing to accommodate, too willing to share its best.

I hate to bring up those cartoons again…you know the cartoons I’m referring too. I’ve written about them here before, more than once. The cartoons we’re speaking of are said to have caused riots in the Muslim world around the globe. The cartoons have insulted Islam by portraying Mohammad.

It turns out that there is a remarkable story behind all the outrage the world witnessed (mercifully, it seems to have finally subsided).

Did the idea of all those burned buildings, boycotts against Denmark, demands for apologies and death threats touch a raw nerve with you?

This story ends up being just one more step in the gradual surrendering of a nation…Perhaps it’s too late for Denmark, perhaps not…

There is a incredible article posted on “The Foundation for the Defense of Democracies” website written by J. Peter Pham & Michael I. Krauss. The title of the posting is “Descent into Dhimmitude”.

The article reveals some startling facts concerning Denmark’s attempts to placate its Islamic community. It has become all too plain that there will be no placation; there will be no getting along until non-Muslims no longer govern.

Here is an excerpt from the article “Descent into Dhimmitude”

“In late 2004 -- a University of Copenhagen professor of Moroccan Jewish descent -- was kidnapped in broad daylight and brutally beaten by three Muslim youths for the "crime" of having read from the Quran during a lecture. A few months later, a Danish publisher used anonymous translators for an essay collection critical of Islam for fear that any named assistant would suffer a similar fate. And in an incident immediately preceding Jyllands-Posten's decision to run the cartoons as a test of self-censorship, Danish artists refused to illustrate a children's book about Muhammad.

These incidents, all disturbing, don't even scratch the surface of the appeasement Danes have made to accommodate the people who unleashed violence against them. In Copenhagen's public schools, the only food available to students -- regardless of their religious affiliation or lack thereof -- are Halal (prepared according to Islamic dietary requirements). In Denmark, a country which enjoys well-deserved praise for the courage with which citizens came together to save its small Jewish community during World War II, Danish Jewish students today cannot attend certain public schools because their very presence is viewed by administrators as "provocative" to radicalized Muslim peers. The country's only Jewish school, Copenhagen's 300-pupil Carolineskolen, founded in 1805, nowadays is constrained to operate behind a double ring of barbed wire.”

“Naser Khader, the Damascus-born son of a Palestinian father and Syrian mother who has served as a Danish parliamentarian from the Social Liberal Party since 1994, now lives under round-the-clock police protection because he committed the "crime" of giving his daughter a kafir ("infidel," read "Western") name. Compounding his "apostasy," he founded a moderate Muslim group with over 700 members, Democratic Muslims, after the outbreak of the "cartoon jihad" to campaign against Islamic establishmentarianism. Imam Ahmad Abu Laban -- the same character who instigated Middle Eastern anti-Danish riots with his portfolio of doctored cartoons -- then labeled Mr. Khader and his supporters "rats in a hole." One of the members of Khader's new group, Iranian refugee Kamran Tahmesabi, recently told a Belgian newspaper, "It is an irony that I am today living in a European democratic state and have to fight the same religious fanatics that I fled from in Iran many years ago."”

Nukes, Gone in a Couple of Days....

Here’s a thought;

'US could wipe out Iran nukes in 2 days'……that would certainly take a little wind from the sails of Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. No doubt there would be some screams and howls from the Arab world, but removing the potential nuke threat couldn’t be anything but good. The free world would surely rest easier!

The article actually titled “'US could wipe out Iran nukes in 2 days'’ was published in the Jerusalem Post’s online edition. Written by Yigal Grayeff, the article outlines what some believe may be the only solution to the Iranian nuke problem.

A bit of the article;

“Gary Berntsen, the former senior CIA operative who led the search for Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan in late 2001, believes the United States has the ability to easily destroy Iran's nuclear facilities. He said the US could use bunker-buster bombs and other weapons to carry out the operation. "We can dig those things out. We can destroy them," he told The Jerusalem Post in an interview.

"We can take care of it in a couple of days with air strikes and they wouldn't be able to stop us," he added. "It wouldn't be difficult to plan. There'd be some dangers but I think the United States can do it."

So there’s the plan, what do you think? How many innocent lives would be spared in the long run?

“"I know the Iranians. I've worked against the Iranians for years. They are determined to get this no matter what, and they will lie and cheat and do whatever they have to do to get themselves a weapon," he said.

"This is a huge system of facilities they have. This is not going to be a small sort of engagement. We are probably going to have to destroy 30 facilities in 30 locations. Or at least 15," he said.”

"We should do what we're doing right now. That means taking them to the United Nations and make this 'the world against Iran,' because the Iranians appear determined to create a weapon," he said.

"If by chance they disarm, then we can avoid this, but if they don't disarm we will need to take care of this ourselves," he said.

"The Iranians have to know that we mean business. They will either disarm or we will destroy their facilities. No ifs, ands, or buts. They present a threat to peace in the Middle East. They present a threat to Israel. We cannot accept that," he added.

Harvard Students Hold "Iran Freedom Concert" in Solidarity with
Iranian Student Movement for Democracy and Civil Rights

CAMBRIDGE – On Saturday, March 18, Harvard University will host the
Iran Freedom Concert, a rally organized by Harvard students to support
their counterparts in Iran. Prominent Iranian student leader Akbar
Atri and Harvard's Undergraduate Council president John Haddock will
address the crowd.

"As tensions rise over nuclear issues, our diverse student coalition
wants to spotlight the human side of the Iran crisis," said
co-organizer Adam Scheuer, a senior and editor at the Harvard Middle
East Review.

"Iranian students are denied basic rights Americans take advantage of
every day. But there is a brave student movement in Iran working for
change, and we need to support them." Widespread student protests in
Iran have broken out in recent years, despite a brutal crackdown by
the regime's security forces.

The concert, which begins at 9 p.m. at Leverett House, features
leading campus musicians and speakers from campus groups exposing
repression in Iran. Nine organizations are co-sponsoring, including an
unusual alliance of campus Democrats and Republicans.

"The coalition doesn't take a stand on policy debates like foreign
intervention," explained freshman co-organizer Alex McLeese. "But we
agree that the fundamental rights of Iranians cannot be held hostage
to diplomatic maneuverings over Iran's nuclear program."

The Iran Freedom Concert takes place just before the traditional
Persian new year of Norouz – reflecting the students' hope for a new
day for freedom in Iran.

"Iranian students are arrested for what they write on their blogs and
have to take their exams in handcuffs," noted freshman co-organizer
Nick Manske. "In fact, the essential elements of this concert are
illegal in Iran: live singing, mixed dancing, and discussing social
messages. Not to mention the restrictions on women, minorities, and
journalists."

That message is being echoed on campuses across the country, with
simultaneous rallies planned at Georgetown, UPenn, Duke, and other
schools. Prominent Iranian dissidents, as well as the American Islamic
Congress, are sending statements of support.

"This is a critical moment for Iran," Scheuer said. "Iranian activists
need to know that American students are ready to help them hold the
Iranian regime accountable. We want to help our counterparts in Iran
seize the moment and advance their civil rights movement."

The Jyllands-Posten, the newspaper now widely known for the Mohammad cartoons, is making news again. In another bold move, they have published a “Manifesto”. The Manifesto states their case brilliantly. Despite the threats, insults and attacks that have others ready to surrender their freedom, these folks aren’t backing-up.

The “Manifesto” deserves the support of freedom loving people everywhere… Fundamentally Right salutes and supports you!!

MANIFESTO: Together facing the new totalitarianism

After having overcome fascism, Nazism, and Stalinism, the world now faces a new totalitarian global threat: Islamism.

We, writers, journalists, intellectuals, call for resistance to religious totalitarianism and for the promotion of freedom, equal opportunity and secular values for all.

The recent events, which occurred after the publication of drawings of Muhammed in European newspapers, have revealed the necessity of the struggle for these universal values. This struggle will not be won by arms, but in the ideological field. It is not a clash of civilisations nor an antagonism of West and East that we are witnessing, but a global struggle that confronts democrats and theocrats.

Like all totalitarianisms, Islamism is nurtured by fears and frustrations. The hate preachers bet on these feelings in order to form battalions destined to impose a liberticidal and unegalitarian world. But we clearly and firmly state: nothing, not even despair, justifies the choice of obscurantism, totalitarianism and hatred. Islamism is a reactionary ideology which kills equality, freedom and secularism wherever it is present. Its success can only lead to a world of domination: man's domination of woman, the Islamists' domination of all the others. To counter this, we must assure universal rights to oppressed or discriminated people.

We reject « cultural relativism », which consists in accepting that men and women of Muslim culture should be deprived of the right to equality, freedom and secular values in the name of respect for cultures and traditions. We refuse to renounce our critical spirit out of fear of being accused of "Islamophobia", an unfortunate concept which confuses criticism of Islam as a religion with stigmatisation of its believers.

We plead for the universality of freedom of expression, so that a critical spirit may be exercised on all continents, against all abuses and all dogmas.

We appeal to democrats and free spirits of all countries that our century should be one of Enlightenment, not of obscurantism.

The Kid's Future will be a Blast!

In America most parents hold high hopes for their children’s future.

It’s not uncommon for parents to scrimp and save to establish a college fund for their off-spring. It’s an American tradition to help the children every way they can be helped.

Most parents want to be involved in the lives of their children. They guide and support them through the school years, offer advice on dating, you know, all the typical things loving and concerned parents do.

Contrast that with this Palestinian mothers hopes for her children….

An article posted on the Israel Insider website titled:

“Palestinian mom regrets her daughter stuffed a huge bomb in her underwear” tells a twisted and chilling story. The article is based on an interview with the mother of a 21 year old female homicide bomber. The article was written by Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook.

It is very difficult to relate the cold hearted, compassionless mindset of these people. Hate appears to have totally consumed their passion for life and left in its wake a passion for death…even their own.

Read this excerpt;

“The interview features the mother of Wafa Al-Bas, a 21-year-old Palestinian woman who was arrested at the Erez border crossing in June 2005 with a 20-pound bomb inside her underwear. Her target was the outpatient clinic of Soroka Hospital in Beersheba, where she had been receiving regular treatments for serious burns to 45 per cent of her body from a gas stove explosion in her home.

Her greatest wish, she said later, was to kill 30 to 50 Israelis, including children. The hospital attack would likely have killed or maimed the Israeli doctor who had saved her life.”

“The mother says she knew that her daughter had wanted to be a martyr since she was a little girl, but the mother hadn't encouraged her - not because the mother opposed the idea of suicide bombing, but because Wafa was female.

"If it was a boy, I would have supported, but since she is a girl I discouraged."

It is difficult if not impossible to understand this from the perspective of a western civilization.. The only explanation this blogger can find is one in the spiritual dimension. The motivation must come from satanic forces, driving those poor souls to take joy in homicide and suicide…at the expense of their children..

The Courage of the American Press

This whole Muhammad cartoon debacle continues to be a defining event. For the American press it’s been an expose’. It’s a “separates the men from the boys” sort of thing. It’s the type of situation that has the boys hiding under their beds and holding their breath.

Sad, sad, sad those stalwart defenders and promoters of freedom of the press, First Amendment rights, have caved. The free press in America is now claiming to be “sensitive” and not wanting to be “offensive” to the Muslim world. They won’t show the offensive cartoons in their papers.

Of course their position is understandable to everyone familiar with the American presses track record.

They have always been extremely sensitive and non-offensive to the other religions as well. You only need to ask the Christians or the Jews, they can remember the many times they weren’t offended by the press.

Perhaps the trick to gaining sensitivity from the press is to merely threaten to burn down a few of their buildings. Maybe if one were to torch a couple buildings it would reinforce the need to be sensitive. It seems effective for the Muslims, doesn’t it?

There was a terrific article posted on the Washington Post website.

It was written by an unlikely pair, William J. Bennett and Alan M. Dershowitz. The title of the article is “A Failure of the Press”

Here’s a excerpt;

“The press has had no problem with breaking a story using classified information on detention centers for captured terrorists and suspects -- stories that could harm our allies. And it disclosed a surveillance program so highly classified that most members of Congress were unaware of it.

In its zeal to publish stories critical of our nation's efforts -- and clearly upsetting to enemies and allies alike -- the press has printed some articles that turned out to be inaccurate. The Guantanamo Bay flushing of the Koran comes to mind. But for the past month, the Islamist street has been on an intifada over cartoons depicting Muhammad that were first published months ago in a Danish newspaper. Protests in London -- never mind Jordan, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Iran and other countries not noted for their commitment to democratic principles -- included signs that read, "Behead those who insult Islam." The mainstream U.S. media have covered this worldwide uprising; it is, after all, a glimpse into the sentiments of our enemy and its allies. And yet it has refused, with but a few exceptions, to show the cartoons that purportedly caused all the outrage.”

“The Boston Globe, speaking for many other outlets, editorialized: "[N]ewspapers ought to refrain from publishing offensive caricatures of Mohammed in the name of the ultimate Enlightenment value: tolerance." But as for caricatures depicting Jews in the most medievally horrific stereotypes, or Christians as fanatics on any given issue, the mainstream press seems to hold no such value. And in the matter of disclosing classified information in wartime, the press competes for the scoop when it believes the public interest warrants it”.

And more;

“While we may disagree among ourselves about whether and when the public interest justifies the disclosure of classified wartime information, our general agreement and understanding of the First Amendment and a free press is informed by the fact -- not opinion but fact -- that without broad freedom, without responsibility for the right to know carried out by courageous writers, editors, political cartoonists and publishers, our democracy would be weaker, if not nonexistent. There should be no group or mob veto of a story that is in the public interest.”

The cartoons and the story should be published now more than ever, it’s time to stand up and let the world know that fear will not contain or intimidate the truth or the free press.

Islamic Weapons

All the world over it seems Islam is becoming less of a religion and more of a weapon… Everyday we read of some supposed offence against Islam.. Buildings burned, people beaten and murdered because some Muslims feel offended… No one likes to be ridiculed, most believe that their feelings and faith deserve respect. But what if one uses his claim of faith as a weapon, what if it’s used as a tool to punish? The story related in the article titled; “TWO CHURCHES TORCHED IN PAKISTAN” tells of yet another case of such abuse that is all too common..

The event is being played out again in Pakistan and someone is accused of abusing the Koran. There needs to be no truth to the charges of abuse. All that is needed is self-righteousness and the desire to punish those that one hates…

‘TWO CHURCHES TORCHED IN PAKISTAN” was written by Sheraz Khuram Khan, Special Correspondent for ASSIST News Service in Pakistan. The article was posted on the ASSIST News website.

“SUKKAR, PAKISTAN (ANS) -- Two churches were set to fire during demonstrations against the alleged desecration of Quran in Freek Hill locality of the city on Sunday, Feb 19.

The churches include Saviour’s Church and St. Mary’s Church. The charged demonstrators reportedly ransacked building of a school of the Christian community.”

And another excerpt;

“Reports say that one Irfan Gill accused his father-in-law Saleem Gill with whom he had a dispute over property of desecrating the Quran apparently to get him arrested on blasphemy charges.

Irfan reportedly told police on Sunday that Saleem Gill’s granddaughter Amna had been reciting Quran when Mr Gill, a Christian, snatched the holy book from her hands and disgraced it.”

In an unusual turn of events it appears that the accused will be vindicated…but false charges were enough to cause two churches to be set ablaze.

Those Pesky WMD’s

It looks like there may be big trouble ahead in Leftville….

Remember those Democrats that were certain that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction? Perhaps then you remember those same Democrats that claimed they were tricked by George Bush into believing Saddam Hussein had WMD’s ? Do you remember this “Bush lied about WMD’s”?

It got so complicated to be a liberal…First you believed and promoted the idea that Saddam had WMD’s. You even supported the president on the issue. Then, they didn’t find the WMD’s in Iraq, you denied you ever supported the idea that Saddam had WMD’s.. You attacked the president on the issue a million times. Quite honestly, you flip-flopped on the issue and everyone knew it…there is written and video evidence to prove you flip-flopped. Still you deny it!

But now, what are you going to do?

“Separately, Ali Ibrahim al-Tikriti, a former Iraqi commander, gave an interview to an American website where he claims: “Saddam’s weapons are in Syria due to certain military deals that were made going as far back as the late 1980s.”

And this;

“In recent months, interviews with Iraqi officials and translated recordings have shown Saddam was considering chemical weapons and may have had links to al-Qaeda and a secret weapons of mass destruction programme in Syria.”

The story is that there are 36,000 boxes of captured documents that must be gone through..

Is this the vindication George Bush has been waiting for?

Will apologies be forthcoming from the liberal left?

High Mileage Cartoons

I don’t suppose anyone is quite tired enough of the ridiculous “cartoon riots” yet…. But, that infantile “I’m offended” bit is wearing a little thin.. If Allah isn’t offended by homicide bombers blowing up innocent children, kidnappings of innocent people, raping of non-Muslim women by Muslims, cutting off the heads of innocent Christian school girls, I don’t think a few cartoons are going to do the job.

Here are some juvenile geniuses at work in Pakistan. Am I ever offended! Get this, they’re putting crosses on soccer balls! The idea is ship these soccer balls all over the world, so Muslims can kick the crosses and offend Christians.

The title of the article is “CARTOON ROW: IMAGE OF CROSS PRINTED ON FOOTBALL (SOCCER BALL) PATCHES IN PAKISTAN”. The article was written by Sheraz Khurram Khan and posted on the ASSIST News Service (ANS) website.

Here’s an excerpt;

“Pakistani Christians got the first taste of Muslim anger over publication of satirical cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad as Sialkot Football industry has deliberately printed image of holy cross on the patches of football in its bid to “avenge” the publication of the controversial sketches by European newspapers.

The printing of cross on the football patches has sparked outrage among Pakistani Christians across the country. In what appears to be a deliberate attempt to desecrate holy cross the industry plans to stitch the patches bearing printing of cross on scores of footballs, which would be later, sold in the national and international markets.”

The Pakistani Christians are far too sensitive over the issue, ignoring the childishness of the Muslims would seem to accomplish more. However, the Muslims in Pakistan have a history of persecuting Christians and it’s probable that that factor is influencing the Christians reaction.

But as for me,

If I see just one Muslim kick one cross on one soccer ball, that will be enough. I’ll be pitching bricks and burning flags, torching a building or two, toasting a few cars and well, I’m not sure what else I’ll do..

I just know I’m offended at the thought..

Cartoons and the Madman

The man that this blogger has called a “madman” is still at it!

Today we learn that America, along with Europe should pay a “heavy price” for the publication of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad. You doubtless remember the Danish cartoons that have created such an outrage in the Muslim world. The same cartoons that caused the riots and burned buildings, burned flags, death threats, boycotts and protests are still causing problems.

Iranian President (the madman) Ahmadinejad said that the United States and Europe “are being hostages of Zionism.”

Here’s Ahmadinejad’s own words;
"I ask everybody in the world not to let a group of Zionists who failed in Palestine (referring to the recent Hamas victory in Palestinian elections) to insult the prophet," he said.

"Now in the West insulting the prophet is allowed, but questioning the Holocaust is considered a crime," he said. "We ask, why do you insult the prophet? The response is that it is a matter of freedom, while in fact they (who insult the founder of Islam) are hostages of the Zionists. And the people of the U.S. and Europe should pay a heavy price for becoming hostages to Zionists."

To show their anger over the caricatures of the Prophet, Iranian demonstrators attacked the Danish, Austrian, and French embassies with stones and firebombs and pitched rocks at the British mission. It appears the demonstrations were state sanctioned, probably encouraged.

There’s a very sad irony in Ahmadinejad’s comments, again to quote him; “the people of the U.S. and Europe should pay a heavy price for becoming hostages to Zionists.”

The tragic irony is that a lunatic is holding the Iranian people themselves hostage and they are already paying a “heavy price.” It appears it that is about to get heavier soon with UN sanctions and most likely boycotts related to Ahmadinejad’s pursuit of nuclear weapons.

But are we seeing the true face of Iran? Does this madman speak for all of the Iranian people?

Certainly, he does not. There is an element in Iran that longs to be free. There are many that would overthrow the brutal dictator and his underlings and that would welcome a change.

One such group, a group of courageous Iranian students have posted a letter/petition on the Internet for the world to read. The letter is titled “A letter from Iranian students to the freedom-loving people of the world”

The letter is both touching and passionate. It’s a desperate plea for help, support and recognition….

February 10th, 2006

In the name of God, the Supreme Goodness
In the names of Love, Iran and Freedom

Iran is my land. Although her name has espoused history since ever, the world has forgotten her since 27 years ago. Nowadays, my country’s name is back on everyone’s lips for a threat, bigger than ever, emanating from the idiocy of those theocrats who govern us, is hanging above us all. A looming menace that, with the sagacity of our people, we are determined to turn into an opportunity for awakening.

As I write you these words, those with whom I used to play in my childhood are climbing the walls of the Danish Embassy, chanting and blaring, setting the foreign mission ablaze. Commanded by the ignorant who rule over my land, those innocent kids with whom I played hide-and-seek form today a human chain around the nuclear facilities. Smuggled into my country by Pakistani traffickers riding their donkeys, the technology being guarded by its human shield is now presented as a national pride by those same idiots who surf the tide provoked by the Danish cartoons. As if vociferating insults and pyromania could prevent the nuclear issue from reaching the UN Security Council!

Having taken over my land first, the chaos is now menacing world peace. What anarchy, what confusion!

We, the innocent generation making up 70 percent of the population of today’s Iran; We, who had no say whatsoever in the 1979 revolution; With all due respect for all peoples on earth, we shall here present our grievances to the world:

* for a quarter of a century you have forgotten us, a noble people known once for the beauty of its high culture abandoned to its misery;

* instead of being educated in a culture of love and science, awful beasts crushing themselves against the towers of the modern world are our little sisters and brothers who are taught, in what is supposedly a classroom, to be flattering hypocrites, merciless and hateful of others; Taught to despise whoever thinks differently from their “Supreme Leader” or their school principal; Taught to consider foreigners as heretics and ignorant people deserving nothing but the worst kind of death;

* they falsify the history they teach them omitting to tell them that, had it not been for the perspicacity of the world back in 1953, we would be dealing with ideologies far more stupid than what we have today in this godless labyrinth which our land has become;

* in schools, they talk of “independence” but confuse it with the conditions of the stone age cave dwellers, ignoring that all peoples of the world need each other and it is this very mutual dependency that paves the road for mutual understanding, respect, peace and healthy relationships;

* throughout these years, they darkened the immaculate mind of our children with superstitions and gossips on the inexistent qualities of those governing us and the wonderful attributes of their so-called “Supreme Leader”, supposedly leading the entire world leaving no place for the nation;

* these story-tellers blackened the pages of our history books saying that our children died in defence, not of our land, but of their “Supreme Leader”, thus making the slightest utterance of the world homeland, a crime in our schools;

* those who speak so eloquently of “federalism”, we wish they could come for a snap visit to our schools and listen to the gibberish nonsense that is being taught here, thus seeing for themselves that in today’s Iran federalism is equal to separatism; Perhaps in the future, when our children will have learned once again the discourse of love and patriotism, federalism would become the progressive, consensual world it is supposed to be. But, until then, let us not forget that those who govern us have consistently lied to history, ignoring that history doesn’t lie.

We now address the peoples of the world,

The real crime going on in our country is the systematic brainwashing of our children whose innocent minds are put under the perfusion of devilish ideologies. The danger of the brainwashed millions, enriched in classrooms turned into ideological centrifuges, is far greater that millions of atomic bombs.

North Korea, Syria, Lebanon and Sudan are in no better shape than we are. Believe us! Long before you became the victims of terror, terrorists themselves had become the first casualties of the foolishness of their satanic rulers.

Rulers who, in order to secure their own survival, turn innocent children into moving bombs, killing and spreading terror. Now that you are alarmed by the nuclear crisis, we beg you not to abandon us once again in the hands of the jailers oppressing us for nearly 3 decades, when the atomic issue is resolved.

We look forward to the extended hands of our sisters and brothers, to those of the children of Adam and Eve, those of the noble peoples of the world, to come to our rescue in helping us regain our due place in the concert of the civilized nations. Our nation is on the verge of annihilation and would welcome any measure or economic and political sanctions that would accelerate the downfall of the mullahs!

The great people of the United States withstood 444 days of captivity for their children in the hands of this regime. Their anxiety is still alive. Think of us then! Think of an entire nation that has been for nearly 10 000 days the hostage of a few who, just recently, dropped their mask, thus showing their real fearful face to the world.

We now address the people of Iran,

There will be no miracle! Regardless of what kind of regime will be put in place tomorrow, let us unite our forces today on the basis of our common principles and draft our own charter founded on the pillars of the world’s most noble treaties. It is not up to us to determine what form of governance we want. Tomorrow, in a free Iran, it will be up to the people of this country to decide what they want, thus making it an obligation for us all to submit to their collective will.

We, the Student Freedom Lovers of Iran, invite all those thriving towards the immensely difficult task of achieving freedom to participate to the “Congress for the Freedom of Iran”, putting aside their differences and thinking instead of our children.

You who are conscious enough not to let your own kids be disturbed watching violent movies, think of our sisters and brothers who are taught by their religion or literature instructors how to activate a bomb and welcome death on their way to heaven by invocating the saints in a mystical trance.

Enough hesitation! It is time to wake up! If you do not want us to remember tomorrow that today you privileged your factional political agenda over the survival of an imprisoned nation, then you have to open your arms and let us for once taste the sweetness of peace and security.

Believe us! We are tired, exhausted! During the past 4 years in jail, they handicapped my leg and broke under torture the arm with which I am writing these words. In between these lines, you should hear the voice of Arjang Davoodi, who has lost his sight and hearing under torture and must endure 15 years in jail in the hands of these criminals in the southern city of Bandar Abbas. Can’t you hear it! Can’t you hear the sound of the droplets of blood falling off the dead body of Ezzat Ebrahim-Nejad, the martyr of the Tehran University campus? The sound of the exhausted breath of Syamak Poorzand and Abbas Amir-Entezam? That of the tears of the wife and daughters of Akbar Ganji? The sigh of the mother of the Mohamadi brothers? The sweet voice of the daughter of Mehrdad Hadirpoor? The groaning of the teenage martyrs of the 1980s, the voices of Tabarzadi, Zar-Afshan, Jookar, Batebi, Bakhtiari? The last moaning of girls being stoned to death? The voice of youngsters weeping before the execution scaffold? The sound of the boots of poverty-stricken men forced to join the regime’s security apparatus and to endure the pain of blisters inflected upon them by ruthless repression, year after year? Can you hear the voice of an entire hostage nation, the people of Iran, imprisoned in a jail vast as Iran, turned into a forced labour camp? We are here, tired but hopeful!

Hear the voice of my father and that of our fathers whose flesh makes up the land of Iran, the land we all love. Hear it and put your differences aside so we can once again love each other, for Iran and for all Iranians.

We have all paid a huge price. Perhaps, none of us will ever forgo the bitter memories of the years of torture and jail, nor those of oppression, bloodshed and fear. Despite all the sadness however, we have all learned to love other peoples of the world and that peace and security can not be achieved by building atomic bombs but by loving each other.

Neither I nor any of my jailed companions, none of us could be entangled in partisan politics, be it republican or monarchist, socialist or anything else for that matter. So long as our people are oppressed, our children raised as barbarians and taught to live as cave dwellers, we are Iranians aspiring to love and freedom.

The new Iranian year of 1385 is approaching. We shall call this New Year the Year of Freedom. We shall call upon all Iranians to set up with the help of international organizations, the “Congress for the Freedom of Iran” on March 22, corresponding to the 9 900th day of captivity of the Iranian nation in the hands of a few mullahs.

Time is short! Let us gather our collective effort so that the 10 000th day of our captivity become the first day of our liberty.

Though difficult to comprehend in the natural realm, it can only be understood as a spiritual battle. Spiritual warfare is precisely what is taking place today in India.

A mob of Hindus attacked a wonderful work of God, a Christian orphanage in Tindole, Rajasthan, India. The orphanage, the Hopegiver Hope Home, was stoned and resulted in the death of an orphaned 8 to 10 year old boy.

The attacking mob wanted to covert the orphans from Christianity to Hinduism.

Hopegivers International manages the Christian orphanage. Hopegivers, operates over 90 Hope Home orphanages in India, nearly 200 schools, and 500 leprosariums.

The persecution of Christians is becoming common place in India.

Here is an excerpt of the account of the stoning of the orphanage;

“Bishop M.A. Thomas, founder of Hopegivers International, received the horrifying news via a phone call earlier today. He said the child killed was a boy between 8 and 10 years of age.

Bishop Thomas told ASSIST the attack began when the Hopegivers leaders in charge of the orphanage, the Reverends Mangilal and Gopal, were attacked by a mob wanting to force the Christian tribal Dalit residents (untouchables) to revert back to Hinduism.

According to the Bishop, about 100 abandoned children and orphans were in the Hope Home at the time of the attack. The two Hopegivers pastors and about 30 of the children escaped and took refuge in the homes of Christian believers in the area, while the orphanage containing the remaining 70 orphans remained under siege by the militants at the time of this writing.”

Despite having been warned 3 days prior to the school’s opening the police did nothing. The police knew of the danger and yet didn’t even warn the school’s staff or provide protection.

It appears as if the local government is quite willing to turn a blind eye to the Hindus violence.

Here’s an excerpt from the story:

“The school was built to provide education for tribal children.
Bishop Thomas Dabre, who officiated at the ceremony, described the attack. “Midway through the program, the mob disrupted us, initially by shouting slogans and arguing with some of the 200 people who were assembled. When they did not succeed in dispersing the people, they resorted to violence.”
The mob accused Catholic school staff of trying to convert their children by offering them education and chanted, “Leave! We don’t want Christians here!”
As the situation quickly deteriorated, Father Brendan Furtado, a guest at the ceremony, called for help by telephone. Even as he made the call, someone in the mob hit him repeatedly with a heavy stick on the back of his neck.”

Another Deadly Blindness of the Liberal Left…

Like two peas in a pod, the radical left fringe and the ACLU pose a real threat to America’s national security. The liberal left is too concerned with gaining political control to be worried about the dangerous work of their bed fellow, the ACLU. Ignoring the real assault on freedom by the American Civil Liberties Union, the liberal left must share the burden and blame for the damage done..

But the ACLU is not without opponents, the ACLU will have to battle every inch of the way…The alarm has been sounded, America is waking up, battle lines are being drawn.

The following is a “Blogburst” from Stop The ACLU. Please read it and consider supporting the effort to stop the ACLU. Nothing less than America’s freedom is at stake.

Convincing liberals that the ACLU is leading us down a dangerous path is about as productive as talking to a rock. Perhaps this is because I mostly deal with far-left liberals who share the same insane views and have the same radical agenda as the ACLU. Anyone who believes that the ACLU is there to purely defend the Constitution is naive at best. Surely, there are some moderate liberals out there that can concede that the organization is in need of reform.

A balanced society can not survive resting in the fringe. A Nation only concerned with security will drift toward a police state, and one that follows the absolutist views of liberty like the ACLU will drift toward anarchy.

The ACLU proudly display a banner that states, Keep America Safe and Free, but any honest person will admit that the ACLU have done nothing for the safety of America. As a matter of fact, all evidence leads to quite the opposite. The ACLU are always ready to put the security of America at risk in the pursuit of its absolutist views of liberty.

Many of the ACLU's former leaders have noticed the irresponsible shifting of the ACLU away from true civil liberty protection into a much more dangerous agenda. For example take the words of this former Executive Director of the ACLU

The right to express unpopular opinions, advocate despised ideas and display graphic images is something the ACLU has steadfastly defended for all of its nearly 80-year history.

But the ACLU, a group for which I proudly worked as executive director of the Florida and Utah affiliates for more than 10 years, has developed a blind spot when it comes to defending anti-abortion protesters. The organization that once defended the right of a neo-Nazi group to demonstrate in heavily Jewish Skokie, Ill., now cheers a Portland, Ore., jury that charged a group of anti-abortion activists with $107 million in damages for expressing their views. Gushed the ACLU's press release: "We view the jury's verdict as a clarion call to remove violence and the threat of violence from the political debate over abortion."

Were the anti-abortion activists on trial accused of violence? No. Did they threaten violence? Not as the ACLU or Supreme Court usually defines it, when in the context of a call for social change.

The activists posted a Web site dripping with animated blood and titled "The Nuremberg Files," after the German city where the Nazis were tried for their crimes. Comparing abortion to Nazi atrocities, the site collected dossiers on abortion doctors, whom they called "baby butchers." ...

This is ugly, scary stuff. But it is no worse than neo-Nazi calls for the annihilation of the Jewish people, or a college student posting his rape fantasies about a fellow coed on the Web, both of which the ACLU has defended in the past.

None of the anti-abortion group's intimidating writings explicitly threatened violence. Still, the ACLU of Oregon refused to support the defendants' First Amendment claims. Instead, it submitted a friend-of-the-court brief taking no one's side but arguing that speech constitutes a physical threat only when the speaker intends his statement to be taken as one.

...Before anti-abortion zealots started getting sued, the ACLU had much more tolerance for menacing speech. Few of the 20th century's great social movements were entirely peaceable. The labor, civil-rights, antiwar, environmental and black-power movements were an amalgam of violence, civil disobedience and highly charged rhetoric. But to gag fiery speakers who call for harm to the establishment because others in the movement pursue their political goals with fists, guns or bombs would do terrible damage to strong, emotive pleas tot social change. It is something neither the ACLU nor, thankfully, the courts have countenanced in the past.

That's why in 1969 the ACLU helped defend a Ku Klux Klan member who had called for violence against the president, Congress and the Supreme Court. At the ACLU's urging, the Supreme Court ruled that speech advocating violence was constitutionally protected unless it incited imminent lawless action and was likely to produce such action. This case was later used to defend the speech of black militants.

The ACLU also applauded a 1982 Supreme Court decision that found that speeches promising violent reprisals were protected by the First Amendment. During the civil-rights movement, a leader of the NAACP called for "breaking the necks" of blacks who violated a boycott of white-owned businesses in Mississippi, and published a list of those who did. Some of the boycott violators were beaten. The court ruled that despite the atmosphere of fear, all the speeches and lists were part of a debate on a public issue that needed to be "uninhibited, robust, and wide-open.”

I would argue that the Constitution doesn't protect all of these extreme positions of the ACLU, but that isn't the point he is trying to make. The issue is the ACLU's curious commitment to "uninhibited, robust, and wide-open" free speech when it involves things such as virtual child pornography, but not when it involves a something like a boss making racially offensive statements.

Unfortunately, there are some people who are so hypnotized by the ACLU's absolutist views and of the ACLU's campaign for pedophilia and child pornography that they are prepared to defend an organization that has become a shadow of its former self--a group that lets its idealistic and skewed understanding of the establishment clause trump freedom of religion and freedom of speech.

Stop the ACLU had the opportunity last year of interviewing a former ACLU lawyer. He was concerned with much of the same things.

The ACLU played a helpful role in the civil rights movement defending these people, and I can't turn my back on that. I have to give credit where credit is due." "But….that being said, what they have done in the past is completely eviscerated by what they do in the present. The ACLU has become a fanatical anti-faith Taliban of American religious secularism."

"The ACLU is involved in the secular cleansing of our history. This is not just a fight about free exercise, but about the protection of our American history. The ACLU want to deny America the knowledge of their Christian heritage."

It seems that the many of the ACLU's greatest critics came from their very ranks. The division within the ACLU will continue as long as the ACLU continues on the irresponsible, hypocritical path it is on. America needs a civil liberties union, sadly the ACLU isn't doing that job. If the ACLU succeeds in the dangerous direction it is steering America, they will ironically be putting in jeapordy the very liberty they claim to protect.

Holocaust Conference

An absurd but dangerous bit of history is being played out before our eyes. The stage is being set by one of the world most outrageous leaders, amazingly (perhaps sadly is a better term) he has followers.

The world never seems to have a shortage of madmen, today won’t be an exception.

The madman that I’m referring too is Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

There has been much in the news concerning Ahmadinejad’s upcoming Holocaust conference. It is difficult to imagine that anyone can take the conference or the participants seriously. It is certainly just a slap at Israel but it sends some disturbing signals to the rest of the world as well.

President Ahmadinejad has called the Holocaust a myth and stated recently that “Israel should be wiped off the map”

Personally, I’ve met victims of the Holocaust and the numbers the Nazis tattooed on their arms were not myths.

It appears that Iran’s resident madman is quickly painting himself into a corner. It also appears that the rest of the world is keeping a very close eye on his antics.

There are several excellent articles posted on subject of the Holocaust conference. One of the best was posted on SPIEGEL ONLINE titled “Iran "Is Making Lunacy Official Policy" the posting is an interview with Holocaust historian Götz Aly.

In the interview Aly deals with the Holocaust in a way that provokes thought, and offers insight.

Here’s an excerpt:

“SPIEGEL ONLINE: The Iranian government is planning to hold a conference to discuss the Holocaust. Would you say there are deficits in how we have tried to come to terms with the destruction of the Jewish people during the Nazi era?

Götz Aly: Academics from all over the world have researched the Holocaust extremely thoroughly. The murder of the European Jews during the Second World War has been looked into with more closely than any other aspect of the 20th century. Naturally it goes without saying that we haven't yet finished dealing with this topic, and that indeed it's not even possible to. There will always be gaps and, faced with something as traumatic as this, each generation will inevitably have new questions to ask.”

“SPIEGEL ONLINE: An ideology of persecution is already part of Iran's political program. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has repeatedly called for Israel to be removed from the Middle East. How should we deal with this policy?

Aly: As an historian, I am not really qualified to answer that. There are the usual political and military means. When you look at what is being concocted right now in Iran -- the nuclear policy can be seen as a complimentary part of this extremely aggressive stance towards Israel -- then the international community clearly has a duty to do something.”

Rollin' Eggs on the Lawn

The entire world now knows…

According to the Weekly Standard it seems gay-rights groups had a secret plan to invade the annual Easter Egg Roll on the White House lawn this year. The invaders were planning to be the first 1000 families on the White House lawn April 17th. The idea was to show-up in mass wearing t-shirts identifying themselves as LGBT [lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender] families.

A couple of non-traditional family advocacy groups, Family Pride and Soulforce are promoting the event.

This statement was found on the Family Pride website:

There is no more powerful way to change the national discussion around our families and our rights than to introduce ourselves to our neighbors on a grand scale. Join us in making history, having fun and showing off our amazing families to the country!”

So, the idea is to transform what was an annual family event revolving around children rolling Easter eggs into a gay political self-promotion.

Over the years, wasn’t the idea of all the gay protests, parades and support groups a push to be accepted and tolerated? Wasn’t it all a movement to bring the non-traditional community (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) to a point where they just blended in?

It would seem that the ideal would be reached when no one would look twice at a gay couple, when eyebrows wouldn’t be raised, and no particular notice would be taken. That would seem to be the level of acceptance sought after, wouldn’t it?

Then why not bring your non-traditional family, not as a group, not advertising your difference, just as another American family enjoying the Easter event?

Certainly, America has not arrived at the ideal point, it’s likely it never will. But by storming Easter egg rolls, creating a spectacle, drawing attention to your differences, you’re not promoting acceptance.

America knows you’re here, we’re aware of you. The discussion that would be promoted probably wouldn't be helpful to your cause.

It’s likely you will foster resentment and move yourself further from your goals…

Easter egg rolls are not about gays, straights or in betweens. They’re about kids, eggs and having a good time.

Just a thought…

Teddy Exposed!

It took some heat from conservatives to get Teddy Kennedy to come clean…

When the tables were turned on the liberal hypocrite and the truth was revealed….the 52 year member of the Owl Club admits he shouldn’t be a member. The Owl Club discriminates against women, yet the self-righteous Teddy Kennedy has been a member for over half a century!

When asked if he should be a member of a club like that, Teddy said “I shouldn’t be and I’m going to get out of it as fast as I can.”

No doubt, Teddy had no intentions of quitting the club before he was shamed into it by conservative pressure.

Teddy, doing some grandstanding, railed on Supreme Court nominee Judge Alito for having ties to a group that discriminates against women. Of course, Teddy the hypocrite’s charges were unfounded and false…

It seems Teddy thinks that he can get away with anything.. He attempts to impugn Judge Samuel Alito’s character because Alito belonged to a group opposed to admitting more women and minorities to Princeton University. Now Teddy is reaching way back to Judge Alito’s college days..and Teddy doesn't have his facts straight to boot!

Teddy must think that his past is beyond scrutiny…. Problem is Teddy has a very troubled track record himself. Fact is, Teddy is an easy target.

If anything at all confirms the fact that Judge Sam Alito is the right choice for the United States Supreme Court, it is this:

“ACLU Opposes Bush Nominee Judge Samuel A. Alito”

Despite the American Civil Liberties Union’s spinning of the truth, despite their smear campaign against Judge Alito, another nail is being driven into their coffin.

Not much more needs to be said to most main stream, thinking Americans. The word is getting out. If the ACLU supports it, it’s probably bad for Americans.

The radical liberal left is applying big pressure to their senatorial flunkies. As Teddy the lush, Chuckles Schumer, Pat Leahy and Company hammered away at Judge Alito ,they were out-smarted again. That’s not any great achievement though. The libs have only displayed their ignorance and blind partisanship to the world once again.

They may attempt the grandstand filibuster but it’s doubtful…

Osama’s dead, one more time….

Perhaps Allah has finally had enough of the hoodlum and has punished Osama Bin Laden. The latest report has the king of the terrorists going out not as a hero, not as a martyr but as a guy with bad kidneys. Some hero! One would think that Osama, the great leader of jihad, knowing he was dying anyway, would go out in flames..

Not this coward, not this loser, he “fades to black” by way of kidney failure. Doubtful that he got his handful of raisins or virgins or whatever, if he’s has indeed departed this life.

The latest report of Osama’s demise comes from Michael Ledeen author of “The War Against the Terror Masters”. Ledeen is also resident scholar in the Freedom Chair at the American Enterprise Institute and a contributing editor of National Review Online..

Here are Michael Ledeen’s words;

“And, according to Iranians I trust, Osama bin Laden finally departed this world in mid-December. The al Qaeda leader died of kidney failure and was buried in Iran, where he had spent most of his time since the destruction of al Qaeda in Afghanistan. The Iranians who reported this note that this year's message in conjunction with the Muslim Haj came from his number two, Ayman al-Zawahiri, for the first time.”

Not much is being said in the main stream media about the event.

Remember the Kyoto Protocol? President Bush flatly rejected it, the world howled! The American left howled! They pounced on George, much of the European leadership ridiculed him for his stance on the treaty. President Bush was blamed for hurricane Katrina, if only he'd signed that treaty. The criticism for the administration was harshest from the liberal left, relentless was their outcry….

Well, guess what? George Bush was right on Kyoto! It hurts them to admit it but they were wrong, George was right!

Forbes Magazine declared the Kyoto Protocol was a “fiasco”!

In an article posted at NewsMax.Com titled “Bush Was Right to Reject Kyoto 'Fiasco'” concerning the Forbes Magazine’s declaration, this was stated;

“George Bush suffered heavy international criticism for rejecting the Kyoto Protocol, but it now appears he was exactly right: The treaty is a "fiasco,” Forbes Magazine declares.

The treaty was negotiated in 1997 as a way to slow global warming, and formally took effect in February, without U.S. participation.
The Clinton administration agreed to the protocol, but the Senate refused to ratify it, in part because developing countries that were major polluters and trade competitors, particularly China and India, refused to participate in the Kyoto accord.
So right now "Kyoto is essentially a western European proposition,” Forbes reports.

But "China and India together send more tons of carbon into the atmosphere than all of western Europe combined, and the U.S. accounts for more than China and India together.”
Therefore it has become "painfully obvious that the treaty was a fiasco,” Dan Seligman writes in Forbes.”

But, President George Bush has a plan. The plan is to birth democracy in the Middle East. Democracy has been given a chance in Iraq, the Iraqis have been given a taste of freedom…. Much to the chagrin and consternation of some of the neighborhood’s oppressive governments and dictators, the idea is spreading… Things are improving, significant change is taking place…

Freedom House, a well known human rights organization has found democracy is spreading…

“As the political battle intensifies over President Bush's efforts to spread democracy to Iraq and the Middle East, an influential human rights organization, Freedom House, has found that the past year brought significant improvements in personal and political rights across the region.

Reports of increased freedom emerged from Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the Palestinian territories, and observers attributed the results to the Bush administration's support of fledgling democracies worldwide.”

“The findings of increased freedom in the Middle East came as President Bush has become more aggressive in defending his decision to go to war in Iraq. This week he gave a major speech and press conference refuting criticism that America's actions have harmed the region, framing the war as part of a larger program for spreading freedom to oppressed peoples in the Middle East and other tyrannical regimes around the globe.

That policy, Mr. Puddington said, was partly responsible for the surge of democratic behavior in the Middle East. "People in this part of the world want democracy. Communism Fails Again

For many people it seemed like a long time ago, that is of course unless you are a Vietnam War Vet. It was all brought back to mind in the ’04 presidential election. John Kerry painted himself as war hero, then as an anti-war hero. It was difficult to understand how John Kerry, Jane Fonda and others could support the Communists in the protest rallies and marches. We don’t need to rehash all of that again here.

Back in the “60’s” in America, we were taught in high school about the evils of Communism. We were taught Communism was a cruel system. The only way it could survive was by oppressing the people it ruled. Yet, the Kerrys and Fondas of the anti-war movement felt America was wrong to fight the spread of Communism. They worked against America.

Well, Communism was given the opportunity to prove its worth for several decades…. It is hard to argue with the truth…those that supported Communism were wrong, they were wrong then and they are wrong now. Communism is a failure..

The truth of what Communism is and how it really controls nations is revealed in a book titled “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.” The book is available to be read from Epoch Times and can be found HERE. It’s a revelation of the evils of the Communist Party in China. This book has played a major role in upsetting the Chinese Communist Party. An estimated six million Chinese have left the Communist Party, due in a large part to the truth revealed in this book.

An extremely interesting article concerning Communism and it’s failure in Vietnam was posted on The Epoch Times.com website. The article was written by Laura Hutton of the Epoch Times Washington D.C. staff and titled “Vietnamese, Veteran Groups Hold Forum on Ending Communism in SE Asia”

“This forum introduced the first printing in Vietnamese of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party ---"the book that is disintegrating the Communist Party," according to the book jacket—and discussed the impact that this new perspective would have for Southeast Asia.”

Merry Christmas

This Christmas as with most other Christmases finds the earth less than a peaceful place. Christians understand that the world will not be a place of peace…not yet

Jesus told us as much in John 16: 33

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

“In this world you will have trouble.” Jesus didn’t say that to threaten us with trouble, He was stating a reality. Jesus was telling Christians how it was going to be, “you will have trouble”.

As we look at the world this Christmas, there is trouble.

Don’t expect peace in the world, even though Jesus says in Matthew 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.”

Blessed are those that are called to be peacemakers…yet their success will be limited…One day Jesus Christ will return to rule and reign..then there will be peace on earth..

But you can have peace right now, this Christmas.

You can have peace in your heart, a peace the world can’t give and the world can’t take away… The only way that peace can be born in your heart is through restoration of the relationship between you and the Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ came to earth to make that restoration possible. You see, He came to bring an offer of peace to you, He came as the ultimate Peacemaker.

It’s as simple as asking Jesus to forgive you of your sins, everyone needs that forgiveness..every man, woman and child. Jesus was the only sinless one to live on this earth. Then ask Jesus to come into your heart and life..

Traitorous American Civil Liberties Union, at it again...

The American Civil Liberties Union is once again siding with America’s enemies. The traitorous, anti-American organization is attempting to undermine America’s national security.. Isn’t it time that a complete investigation is held into this threat to America’s freedom. It’s time for citizens to demand a response from their elected officials…Someone has to inform the ACLU that America is fighting a war and the ACLU is being seen as an ally of the enemy..

ACLU Freedom of Information Request Would Gut NSA Program

Apparantly it isn't enough for the ACLU that the NY Times leaked classified information that we are spying on international phone calls of suspected terrorist. They now want all details released! Whether they are just plain stupid, or actually want the enemy to defeat us, the document fails to say.

The requests submitted today seek all records about "the policies, procedures and/or practices of the National Security Agency for gathering information through warrantless electronic surveillance and/or warrantless physical searches in the United States …".... Information received by the organization will be made public on its Web site.

Rightwing Nuthouse says:

Words fail me at this point. The generosity of the ACLU to the deadly enemies of the United States is beyond belief. The only possible explanation for wanting to expose "all records about the policies, procedures and/or practices of the National Security Agency" with regards to the NSA intercept program is that the ACLU wishes to make it harder for the government to thwart a terrorist attack.

The reason I say this is because this FOIA request is not necessary if one wishes to take an absolutist position in defense of our Fourth Amendment rights. It's only purpose would be to sabotage the program. For once al Qaeda knows the details of how we keep track of them, it becomes much easier to develop communications strategies to thwart our attempts to monitor their activities.

If the ACLU is against warrantless searches, it is their duty to protest it in a responsible manner, one that would not harm national security so grievously. And please note there is nothing in the FOIA request that would seek to uncover who the government listened in on with the program. Doesn't that strike you as a bit odd? Rather than ask for the names of specific Americans who have been targeted, they instead seek to shut the program down by revealing its operational secrets.

I couldn't say it any better myself. There is no reason to release the details of the NSA program. Doing so would benefit no one but our enemies, and only endanger America further. This irresponsible position of the ACLU is reckless and crazy. But we have come to expect such traitorous behavior from the so called civil rights group. They oppose almost every effort our government has to fight terrorism with one hand, and defend our enemies with the other. I still can not understand why our government has not investigated the ACLU itself, they most definitely have probably cause to do so.

Isn't it ironic that the ACLU wants our government's secrets released so the enemy can see, yet they tell our enemies they have the right to keep their secrets from our interrogations?

The Politically Correct Silliness of the “Holiday Tree”

The politically correct silliness of the “holiday tree” and all the other attempts to neutralize Christmas here in America, are causing quite a stir. Some deny that there is any attempt to remove Christ from Christmas… This blogger has memories of many Christmases, there’s a conscious effort to undermine the Christian Holiday. It’s just a seasonal attack on Christianity, it goes on all year.

As much as most American Christians don’t like it, as much as it should be resisted, it is mere child’s play in comparison to what others are battling.

Christmas is a time of celebration, a time to remember the birth of the Son of God, the Savior of the world, the only Hope for mankind.

Christmas isn’t always a time of “Peace on Earth, goodwill toward men. ”

In an excellent and enlightening article by Nina Shea, director of Freedom House's Center for Religious Freedom, Nina reveals how other Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Her article is titled “The Real War on Christmas” it was posted on National Review Online.

Here’s an excerpt;

“In Saudi Arabia, Christians, a large percentage of the foreign workers making up a quarter of the population, will not be able to find any churches whatsoever to worship in this Christmas — churches are forbidden. Dozens of those who pray together in private houses were arrested and jailed earlier this year. This fanatically intolerant kingdom even forbids Muslims, under threat of death, to wish a Christian "Happy Holidays," much less "Merry Christmas."

And another;

“Christians in Pakistan will be wise to keep their Christmas celebrations low-key this year. One of them, Yousaf Masih, a 60-year-old illiterate janitor from northwestern Pakistan, is among those under arrest for "blasphemy" because he allegedly burned a Koran. As Paul Marshall of the Center for Religious Freedom recounted, three weeks ago in Sangala Hill, after word of his case got out, mobs destroyed three churches, a convent, a Christian school, and Christian homes. Last week a militant mob rallied to demand Masih's public hanging and the eradication of the entire Christian community there.”

The Defeatocratic Party

The Defeatocratic Party is ordering up multiple yards of white muslin while waiting for the surrender flag patterns to arrive from France.

Their official motto is rumored to be “Nothing’s so sweet as retreat and defeat!”

While John Kerry calls our American troops terrorists and Howie the Scream Dean declares we can’t win, another voice is heard.

As the liberals attempt to pass out their white surrender flags throughout the Defeatocratic Party, not everyone is willing to wave one.

It seems the party of the left won’t be unified in their advocacy of surrender.

One troublesome voice, one voice of reason, one voice unwilling to play partisan politics in a time of war can be heard from the left. Now the party that claims to be the party of diversity, the free speech party wants to shut him up…They have turned on him.

Of course the man is Senator Joe Lieberman, one day the Defeatocrat’s will wish they had hearkened to his voice.

To quote Senator Lieberman:

“What a colossal mistake it would be for America's bipartisan political leadership to choose this moment in history to lose its will and, in the famous phrase, to seize defeat from the jaws of the coming victory,"

"History will judge us harshly if we do not stretch across the divide of distrust to join together to complete our mission successfully in Iraq," Lieberman said. "It's time for Democrats who distrust President Bush to acknowledge that he will be the commander in chief for three more critical years, and that in matters of war, we undermine presidential credibility at our nation's peril."

History will remember Joe Lieberman as a hero in the war fought here against the cut and run defeatists. The Defeatocrats will no doubt all try to rewrite history and claim they were saying the same things as Lieberman. No one else will remember them backing US policy in Iraq but they will claim they did… even though their words will be read back to them, they will tell us they were taken out of context, they were misinterpreted. America will remember when they clamored for surrender..

Politics should end at the water’s edge. America is at war, not the Republicans, not the Democrats, America!

America, indeed the world can’t consider anything except total victory in the war or terror…Defeat is not an option…

There will be victory, victory for freedom, victory for America, make no mistake about it!

America needs more patriots like Joe Lieberman.

Exit Strategy

It seems that the Dems are developing their own “exit strategy”.

After the constant hounding and outright demanding that the Bush Administration present them with an exit strategy for Iraq, they have their own. Oh, don’t think the Dems have a plan for Iraq! On second thought, perhaps they do have a plan, rather, they have plans, and every Dem has a different plan. But that’s just like having no plan..

What a farce, the party of diversity is nothing more than the party of division.

Truly, anyone with even a little foresight could see it coming. What more could be expected from a party that would tolerate the radical extremist, Howard Dean as it’s chairman? Dean’s bizarre and off the wall comments send all but the extreme edge of the radical fringe running and ducking for cover.

Dean’s recent babbling concerning Operation Iraqi Freedom are typical of his mindless rants..

"The idea that we're going to win this war is an ideal that unfortunately is just plain wrong,"

It would be much more than generous to call Dean’s statement unfortunate. It’s outrageous! Then when his cohorts Murtha, Kerry, Pelosi and the rest of the other usual suspects chime in, undermining the war effort and the troops, it’s tragic..It’s treasonous.

Once again, the party of the Democrat’s has taken on a French flavor, it now the party of surrender, the party of defeat.. Raise the white flag, throw in the towel, just give up..

Yes, the Democratic “exit strategy” may sound like it’s about Iraq, but it’s about exiting from the American political scene.. The party of defeat, the party of surrender has lost its way… They are fast becoming the party of irrelevance… Their strategy ?

This day has been set a side that we might express our thanks to God Almighty for the many blessings He has poured out upon us. His blessings poured out on us both individually and as a nation have been great. It is true that God is good, His blessings are many.

There is a mighty blessing in learning to be thankful.. Our nation, America, has a heritage rich with expressions of thanksgiving…It does us good to remind ourselves of that heritage from time to time, today is the perfect occasion.

According to an article posted by my good friends over at “Regime Change Iran” a hard-line ayatollah, named Mesbah Yazdi is asking Iran to fund the training of 5,000 Islamic clerics to be sent to the USA. Now, you have to understand what ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi has been up to. It seems he’s the founder of the shiite version of Taliban in Iran. These are the same kind folks that have been talking about obliterating the nation of Israel and last year was threatening to take over Britain.

It’s hard to imagine 5,000 of their cleric coming to our shores with good intentions…

French ToastMoblies….

If you want to get around in France today you may find yourself on a bicycle or perhaps even hoofing it! There’s a fair chance that those young fun-loving Muslim hooligans toasted your automobile during the last few weeks of frivolity.. Those youngsters are just too funny!

Yeah, it was a riot until some poor Frenchmen had to walk to work (of course that doesn’t affect the rioters, they don’t have jobs). Some might have been able to catch a train to work (that could save shoe leather) but now the French railway workers are on strike! Read about it HERE

Certainly, the French have no one but themselves to blame for their dilemma. It’s only natural to spend one’s evening setting cars alight.
Almost everyone has toasted twenty or thirty cars during their youth, it’s a right of passage, isn’t it?

Seriously, what in the world is going on in that bastion of civilization called France? Is it possible that the torching of the cars was really the harbinger of more fiery days to come? Was it the lighting of the first fires of the final meltdown of France? Maybe just a little black cloud briefly passing over Paris?

Seems to me they were warning fires, fires sent to alarm the citizenry. Something akin to wake-up calls, something to get one’s attention….I think it worked…However, the head is conveniently close to the sand and it quickly buried itself again.. If we pretend hard enough, if we make enough excuses for them, maybe, just maybe it will all go away.

No, it will not go away, perhaps France will go away, but it will not go away. At least not without a bloody fight… Don Feder wrote a terrific article concerning the Muslim youth and the riots in France, it was posted on the Assyrian International News Agency website.

Don Feder titled his article “Excusing Les Rioters”, here’s an excerpt:

“In the past 50 years, the Muslim population of Western Europe has gone from less than 250,000 to upwards of 20 million (10 percent of France is Muslim). This is the result of a deadly troika -- demographic winter (European secularists have chosen extinction by childlessness), lax immigration policies and brain-dead multiculturalism. The Center for Security Policy warns that by 2050, Europe will lose one-third of its native population.

Enter the Muslims, whose high birthrates are subsidized by European welfarism. Some doubtless want to assimilate into their host societies. More want to live in Europe while identifying with a culture that's warred with the West for more than a millennium.
The Madrid train bombers (body count, 191), mentioned the loss of Grenada in 1492 among their grievances. Perhaps the immigrant youth of Stains are protesting the defeat of the Moorish army at Tours in 732 A.D.”

“In her insightful book The Rage And The Pride, journalist Oriana Fallaci wonders if Muslim immigration to Europe might be part of a grand design: "Something else, then, I don't understand: if they (Muslim immigrants) are as poor as their abettors and protectors claim, who gives them the money to come? Where do they find the five or ten thousand dollars per head that pay for the trip? Might it be that this money is supplied by some Osama bin Laden for the mere purpose of establishing the Reverse Crusade's settlements and better organizing Islamic terrorism?"

The article poses some thought provoking questions, questions the rest of Europe might do well to ask themselves…making excuses and accepting blame is not the answer. It won’t even buy time.

Sly Foxes Caught In Their Own Trap

Sometimes those sly foxes on the liberal left just plain out fox themselves. It’s a real hoot to see the critters caught in their own trap.

Of course, the American Civil Liberties Union can’t tolerate the theory of Intelligence Design, there’s a hint of a supreme being in it. Did someone say God, right out loud?

The ACLU is taking the Dover Pennsylvania School District to task over the teaching of the ID theory…the claim is that it’s a religious theory. But the question is can you teach religion to prove a theory is religious and it shouldn’t be taught? It might cause you to scratch your head a bit while trying to sort it out.

But let me refer you to an excellent article describing how absurd the liberals have become. Perhaps if enough people become aware of how their tax dollars are being squandered, it can be stopped.

The article is titled “Attorney Sees Hypocrisy in Gov't-Funded 'Evolution' Website” written by Jim Brown and posted on the Agape Press website.

Here’s an excerpt of the article:

“(AgapePress) - Intelligent design opponents who claim teaching the theory in public schools is unconstitutional are being sued for allegedly using federal dollars to promote a liberal religious view of the theory of evolution.

Larry and Jeanne Caldwell filed the suit after they discovered that UC-Berkeley and the National Center for Science Education (NCSE) had used $500,000 in federal money from the National Science Foundation to launch an evolution website aimed at K-12 science teachers. Mr. Caldwell, who is co-counsel in the lawsuit, claims the "Understanding Evolution" website attempts to use liberal Christian and Jewish theology to persuade students that their religious beliefs do not conflict with evolutionary theory.

Caldwell says he and his wife object to a portion of the "Understanding Evolution" website that trains teachers on how to use religious arguments in science class to try to sell evolution to students. He says that is a clear violation of the establishment clause of the First Amendment.”

CHURCHES OF INDONESIA PLEA FOR HELP

A Cry for Help!

The ASSIST News Service (ANS) is reporting an urgent plea for help from Pastor Johan Bandi, Secretary of the Indonesian Churches in Perth, Australia. The call for help is to Christians and Christian Churches around the world.

The Christians in Indonesia are under attack by radical Islamic groups. Churches have been forced to close and some churches have been destroyed. Churches have been broken into in the middle of services. Pastors have been forced to stop preaching and have been intimidated into signing documents stating the building will no longer be used as a church.

All this activity is happening often while government officials and police officers stand by and do nothing. Sadly, though the federal government continues to make international statements that they do not agree with these church closures, local and state government officials continue to provide the decrees to close them.

What can you do about it?

Friends By Appointment?

There is much discussion today centered around a theory known as “Intelligent Design.” The theory is based on the premise that a power, an intelligence far greater than man’s, created and set in motion all that exists.

If one believes in the God of the Bible, the theory of intelligent design makes perfect sense. It doesn’t take a Bible study of any great depth to discover that God is a God of details. The Bible student will also find God is a planner, God is the ultimate planner. When you know everything, the entire past, the present and the future, reaching through eternity it’s possible to carry out your plan.

God has had plenty of experience, He started before the beginning of time. Kind of hurts your head to try and ponder that doesn’t it? That’s why He’s God and we’re not!

Keeping all of that in mind consider this theory, it could change your entire worldview.

The Bible states that the Jews, the Israelites, are God’s chosen people. God made a covenant with the Israelites.

The New King James Version puts it this way;

Deuteronomy 7:6 "For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.”

It is stated elsewhere in the Bible as well, but Deuteronomy 7:6 speaks it plainly enough.

So, if God has a Divine plan, and is carrying out that plan, Israel is the major player. Of course, if one doesn’t subscribe to the Bible as being true or God being real then it’s doubtful any convincing will be done here.

The point though is not to debate how it all started, creationism versus evolution, that’s the beginning. The “now,” the “end” and how we’re getting there is more the subject.

An extremely fascinating article written by Stan Goodenough titled “Israel and the US - A God-ordained alliance?” and posted on the Jerusalem Newswire website present thought provoking insights.

Suppose that God created the United States of America for purpose of being Israel’s ally? Suppose that for the two and a half centuries of America’s existence God has been preparing and drawing Israel and America together for His Divine purpose.

Here’s a excerpt from the article;

“When God brought about the independence of the United States in 1776, He was supervising the founding of a nation He purposed to have in place about two centuries later as the world’s mightiest superpower.

And His reason for elevating America to this position was so that she would ally herself with the surviving remnant of the Jewish people, help them take root again in their national homeland, and support them in their struggle against a hostile world.

So America exists for Israel’s sake? What an absurd thought!

By such reckoning, all the major events that shaped the United States – from the days of early settlement, through the colonial era, the War of Independence and Declaration of Independence, the launching of the Information Age, the American Industrial Revolution, the American Civil War, the Abolition of Slavery, the attainment to flight, World War One, the Great Depression, World War Two, the advent of the Atomic Age, the Space Race, the Cold War and America’s victory over it – all these things took place ultimately so that the United States could be positioned to stand with the Jewish nation in the 20th and 21st centuries.

Surely a ridiculous idea!”

Being On God's Side

In a report posted on the Jerusalem Newswire website titled “Episcopalians want to end Jewish occupation” writer Ryan Jones makes a couple of observations worthy of note.

Jones reported the intentions of the Episcopal Church’s plan for Israel;

“Earlier this month, the church's Social Responsibility in Investments committee issued a report to the Executive Council recommending “corporate engagement” in an effort to effect “positive changes in Israeli government policy” leading to the birth of another Arab Muslim state centered on Judea and Samaria, the God-given heartland of the Jewish people.”

Let me make this comment,

As was stated in the previous post titled “Apple of God’s Eye” here at Fundamentally Right, the Archbishop of the Anglican Church isn’t very happy with many American Evangelicals. Why? Because these Evangelicals support Israel.. Why do the Evangelicals support Israel?

The answer is painfully easy to those that read the Bible. God makes no secret of it.

The Book of Genesis 12:3 states “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you; and the entire world will be blessed because of you.'' Of course, the “you” God is talking about is Israel, the Jewish people and the land He gave them.

Well, Ryan Jones goes on to report that the Episcopalians ultimate plan is to divide Israel, to allow it to be overrun with Arabs.

Back to Jones' words;

“The report calls on the church to “affirm the principle of the right of return for every Palestinian.”

The so-called “right of return” is an unprecedented Arab demand that Israel allow the few thousands of surviving Arab refugees from the 1948 war and their millions of descendants to flood the country.

Israelis from across the political spectrum have rejected the notion, as it would demographically annihilate the Jewish state overnight.”

The motive of the Episcopalian’s is supposedly to bring peace in the Middle East. If they have their way, peace may come in time, simply because Israel would cease to exist.. God’s not going to let that happen, not to the “Apple of His Eye”

See the Book of Zechariah 2:8 For thus says the Lord of hosts: "He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.

One can rant and rave, get unhappy with the Evangelicals that support Israel…even hate the Jews and their nation Israel. But it better be understood, whether anyone likes it or not, God has a stake in the issue. It’s best to be on the side of God.

Support the Apple of God's Eye or at the very least, don't touch it!

The Apple of His Eye

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams is not very happy with the American Evangelicals. More specifically, the Archbishop is concerned about Christian “Zionists”.

These Christian Zionists are just a bit too supportive of Israel. They could ruin everything in the Middle East.

Christian “Zionists” as some refer to them, believe that God, speaking through the Bible instructs His people to support Israel. They believe that God blesses those that bless Israel.

This is how the Living Bible states it in Genesis 12:3

Genesis 12:3 “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you; and the entire world will be blessed because of you.''

The “you” in that verse is in reference to Israel.

If the Bible is to be believed, God favors Israel. God also gives warning to those that would do harm to Israel..

This is how it’s stated in the Book of Zechariah, the New King James Version.

Zechariah 2:8 For thus says the Lord of hosts: "He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.

Once again, Israel being the “you” in the verse.

If one is mildly aware of the events going on today concerning Israel, whom does this scripture verse bring to mind?

Psalms 83:2

For behold, Your enemies make an uproar, And those who hate You have exalted themselves. 3 Thy take crafty counsel against thy people, And consult together against thy hidden ones. 4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; That the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

Those verses could have been taken right out of today’s headlines.

There are many more scriptures that describe Israel’s enemies and the ultimate defeat of those enemies.

The Bible indicates clearly that God is on the side of Israel. It appears that it is profitable to be on the side of God.

Here is a little more instruction;

The American Standard Version

Psalms 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: They shall prosper that love thee.

It seems that America has done rather well by supporting Israel over the years. America has prospered and Israel has prospered.

The Archbishop suggested that "theological work" needed to be done to "counter those interpretations of Scripture from outside the mainstream of the tradition which appear to have become increasingly influential in fostering an uncritical and one-sided approach to the future of the Holy Land."

The comment that would appear to claim that Christians “Zionists” blindly endorse every move that Israel makes is debatable. The claim of one-sidedness is not absolute either. But the belief that Israel has a God given right to exist is nonnegotiable. In the context of the Bible it would seem self-defeating to support the enemies of Israel.

Perhaps the Archbishop should get busy with that “theological work.” He may find that it’s his interpretation of “mainstream” and “tradition” that need adjusting….

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: They shall prosper that love thee.” Seems fairly straight forward.

Like everything else, the price of cosmetics is going up. Lipstick, eye shadow, face powder and all the rest of the products humans, most especially the females use are becoming more expensive. There is a price many are willing to pay to look younger, healthier and more attractive.

Unfortunately, the cost to the consumer is not in some cases where the highest price is paid.

Some may take a second look at the ingredients and the country of origin listed on the container of those products after reading the rest of this post.

It seems that a Chinese cosmetics company is developing beauty products to be sold in Europe. Representatives for the company have told potential customers that it is developing collagen for lip and skin wrinkle treatments. The problem arises when the ingredients are mentioned.

The Chinese company is using human skin in their products. One might ask; “where could a supply of human skin be found for commercial use?” Those clever entrepreneurs have tied into a steady source of skin. They’re using the skin of executed prisoners after they have been shot. These prisoners don’t have any use for their skin now, why waste it?

The company reps say it’s no big deal. It’s a tradition.

Some of the company’s products have been exported to the UK.

China doesn’t seem to have any hang-up when it comes using body parts harvested from prisoners. There is a market for those parts all around the world, they are quite a cash crop.

Anti-War?

It’s been a week now since the big anti-war protest rally in DC. Cindy Sheehan and the usual suspects were all there. Codepink, Jesse Jackson and other professional protestors were all taking their turn at the microphone and mugging for the obliging media cameras.

Hardly a soul missed hearing about this event, it was plastered all over the television radio and print media, as I’m sure you’re more than aware.

In America, protest marches and rallies are not an everyday thing but they are certainly not unheard of either. The organizers of last week’s protest march and rally bill the event as an anti-war protest. “Anti-war” is an inaccurate definition of what was being protested. The truth of the matter is closer to an anti-American or at least an anti-Bush protest, perhaps it’s an anti-American military protest.

If Cindy Sheehan were truly anti-war, shouldn’t she be protesting in Iraq? The ones that took her son’s life were insurgent terrorists fighting the Coalition Forces in Iraq. Her focus needs to be on the terrorists, they that won’t permit peace.

I doubt that Codepink, Michael Moore, Martin Sheen or Cindy will be making the trip to Bali soon. The terrorists attacked there this weekend killing some 26 innocent people as they fight their war of terror. It’s not likely any of the above protestors will even condemn those attacks. If their cause were truly anti-war, they would be organizing protests wherever the radical Islamic terrorists attack and kill.

Because it is so obviously not anti-war, Cindy and her radical left backers have no credibility with anyone but themselves. It does serve to encourage the terrorists. It gives them false indications that America does not have the will to fight the war we can’t afford to lose.

This is America, you’re allowed to disagree with the President, you can even hold protest marches and rallies.. Just be honest about the motives, it’s not about hating war, it’s about politics.

No one is fooled by it!

“IT SEEMS UNLIKELY that many of the so-called peace marchers who trooped through Washington and London two weekends back listened on Thursday — at least not with an open mind or sympathy — to George Bush's cogent explanation of why coalition troops are fighting and dying in Iraq.

You did not see in those demonstrations, after all, many banners reading, "Support Iraq's New Constitution," "No to Jihad" or "Stop Suicide Bombers." The crimes committed daily against the Iraqi people by other Arabs who wish to re-enslave them seem to be of little interest to Michael Moore, Jane Fonda and their followers. Rage against the daily assaults on children, women, anyone, by Islamo-fascists and ordinary national fascists is not fashionable. Only alleged American crimes are cool to decry.

Wow!! Peace marches, anti-war protest demonstrations…people getting arrested. Does it give you goose bumps? It’s like the good old days of VW Microbuses, long hair, love beads and glassy eyes.

Somebody hand me a bullhorn and a folding chair, I want to make a speech!

It’s back, with all the circus-like atmosphere, you can almost smell the draft cards burning…

You’ve got to know John Kerry’s black little heart is leaping in his chest… “All we are saying is give peace a”….stuff a sock in it, put a lid on it, just can it John. It’s going nowhere, America’s not buying it..

But I have to admit, it brings back memories.

What we remember too Hanoi John Kerry, is your promise to make your military records public.. You promised to sign the Standard Release Form 180. It’s said that you signed it, good boy!

Now make all the records public John, America deserves to know the truth.. Just do it! Like a mill stone around your neck John, it’s too big to ignore and it will always hold you down..

Release the records, America deserves it, your party deserves it, they need to know what you’re hiding.

Oh, and by the way, Iraq is not Vietnam, no matter what your friends say…no matter how much you would like it to be, not even for the sake of “old times”.

“One of the many negative consequences of America's defeat in The Vietnam War has been the uncontrolled proliferation of Vietnams since then.

Nicaragua threatened to become another Vietnam. Lebanon nearly became another Vietnam. Crazy for Christ?

If you convert from Communism to Christianity, are you out of your mind? Using a page out of the old communist playbook, from the chapter on “perceived threats and thought control”, the Vietnamese government would like you to believe it.

A mental hospital committee comprised of Marxists declared Than Van Truong insane for believing in God.

It all began when Truong became a Christian after serving as an officer in the Vietnamese People’s Army. He then became involved as a worker for the house church organization of Vietnam’s Baptist General Conference.

That’s when the trouble began, of course the government of Vietnam claims that they have never incarcerated anyone for religious reasons.
Van Truong was released from the mental hospital recently, he would tell you a different story of religious persecution in Vietnam.

Stop taxpayer funding of the ACLU

How do you like paying for lawsuits against the Boy Scouts? Do you mind paying for lawsuits against local school systems?

I know many Americans that are about fed up with all the game playing and walking on eggs. Our local school systems have enough to concern themselves with in the educating of our children. The Boy Scouts should be concerned with problems like “Do we have enough canoes?” and “ Who knows how to fold the American flag?”

They should never have to be concerned with the American Civil Liberties Union’s lawsuits….Silly lawsuits, expensive lawsuits, lawsuits that in most cases are anti-Christian and anti-American.
Lawsuits that rob the American Taxpayer!

Do you know what would greatly reduce the number of those types of lawsuits? Simply remove the financial awards from these cases and suddenly the ACLU will lose interest.

Here’s you chance to have your voice heard!

There’s a petition you can sign that requests that our lawmakers change the law “42 USC 1988(b)”. Take the taxpayers (your) money out of the financial settlements awarded to the ACLU by the courts.

“WHEREAS, the American Civil Liberties Union (the ACLU) has shown itself to be hostile to religious expression by private citizens and the civil rights of people of faith; and

WHEREAS, the ACLU has declared war on the Boy Scouts of America, the military of the United States, Christmas displays, public buildings that display the Ten Commandments, and many other American traditions; and

WHEREAS, the United States Congress, roughly thirty years ago, passed a provision in United States Code section 1988 that requires taxpayers to pay attorneys in civil rights cases; and

WHEREAS, the ACLU has abused that law to make untold millions of dollars simply by suing boy scouts, school children, military academies, cities and towns, with the goal of punishing any who dare to exercise their First Amendment right to religious freedom and expression; and

WHEREAS, the vast majority of taxpayers do not want to be forced to pay the ACLU to sue their neighbors and friends in the ACLU's efforts to strip America of all signs of faith; and

WHEREAS, the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment was not contemplated when USC section 1988 was passed;

THEREFORE, the People of the United States call upon their Congress to amend USC section 1988 so that hostile special interest groups such as the ACLU can no longer be granted taxpayer money to attack Americans and their institutions.

We, The People, call upon our elected representatives to amend USC section 1988 so that fees are not awarded to the ACLU or any other plaintiff in Establishment Clause cases. We wish for the Free Expression Clause to implicate at least the same financial incentives as attacks upon faith currently have.”

Castro's Crackdown on Christians

Fidel Castro, Cuba’s great liberator is again displaying for the world more of the benefits of Communism. Is it any wonder so many are flocking to share in the blessings of Fidel’s revolution?

Cuba may be a paradise for communists, but for Christians it’s a bit less.

Seems communists have an aversion to Christianity, there’s something about Christians they just can’t accept.

Although Christians are typically among the hardest working, most dependable and honest people, the communist can’t leave them alone. There’s just something about the Christian belief system that spooks the communists. Not only in Cuba is this the case, but nearly everywhere the communists have taken power the Christians suffer.

An article published on the Forum 18.org website describes the crackdown on Christian “house churches” that is about to take place in Cuba.

The detailed article written by Lena Lopez, of Christian Solidarity Worldwide, titled “CUBA: Draconian new restrictions on "home religious meetings" tells the story very well.

Here’s an excerpt;

“Protestant house church leaders fear that sweeping new regulations restricting religious meetings in private homes, adopted in April 2005 but which are due to be implemented this month, could severely curtail their ability to meet for worship. Services that have not been authorized are banned, while those organizing approved services must submit the names of and signed approval from all owners of the house, days and times when services are held and the number of worshippers. The full name and place of residence of the pastor and details on their theological education must be given. No more than one church of any one denomination can exist within two kilometers (1.25 miles) of each other. Foreigners cannot attend house churches in mountainous areas, and require specific permission to attend churches elsewhere. Violations will lead to the church being closed and both the leader and the foreigner being fined 1,000 US dollars.”

Here’s more;

“Protestant leaders fear that the house church movement will bear the brunt of its impact. While the practical implications of the directive will only become clear over time, house church leaders fear that this heralds a new and more antagonistic chapter in their relations with Fidel Castro's government.

Protestant pastors estimate that between 10,000 and 15,000 house churches currently operate across the country. Most are satellite congregations of churches that existed prior to the 1959 Revolution and belong to well-established denominations with a historic presence in Cuba. Most of these house churches have somewhere between 30 and 200 members who regularly attend services.”

Also this;

“Even once a house church receives authorization it will still be subject to a number of restrictions, including the prohibition of any flags or signs on the exterior of the building that would identify it as a house church. As with many areas in Cuba, some discrepancies appear to exist between regulations for house churches in the capital Havana and for house churches in the provinces. Havana house churches report that they will be allowed to meet three times weekly from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on working days and from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm on non-working days, while some provincial house churches report that they have been told they will only be allowed to meet twice weekly from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. One provincial house church pastor complains that this will effectively prohibit them from holding Sunday School classes.

Additionally, Havana churches have been told they will have to seek neighbours' permission if they wish to use electronic sound equipment including microphones and cassette or CD players, which is problematic enough (most churches count among their neighbors "Committees for the Defense of the Revolution" - a sort of neighborhood watch program that employs government informers across the country). By contrast, provincial pastors have been told that such sound systems will be banned altogether, regardless of how many members attend the services. "Imagine the difficulty," observes another provincial pastor, "of preaching to a group of 50 or 100 without a microphone."”

One has to wonder where Fidel comes up with the time and the money to harass the Cuban Christians. The article never really addresses the question “why are the communists doing this?”

It does remind one of the anti-Christian bent of that communist founded organization the American Civil Liberties Union. The ACLU doesn’t have the ability to exercise the control Fidel and friends wield in Cuba, but given the opportunity …….

It’s a good thing for every American to recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag occasionally…

It’s a good thing for every American school student to recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag everyday in school.

Students have recited the above pledge since 1954 without harm.

And now;

Judge Lawrence Karlton writes.

"The court concludes that it is bound by the Ninth Circuit's previous determination that the school district's policy with regard to the pledge is an unconstitutional violation of the children's right to be free from a coercive requirement to affirm God," Judge Lawrence Karlton wrote.

Judge, let me affirm God right here and now for you….of course you know that your ridiculous ruling won’t survive appeal.

The great tragedy, is the financial cost, the taxpayer’s money wasted, and precious court time squandered. Others now will now spend time and money to over turn your idiotic ruling.

The ACLU is not directly involved in this travesty. But, we know they enjoy pulling, snagging and tearing the fabric of our great nation. Certainly, they will salute you Judge Karlton.

I have these words for you, “Stop the ACLU” and activist judges such as yourself.

Paranoia?

I have been criticized and told I was paranoid, been told I was too fearful. Comments have been left at Fundamentally Right suggesting all is fine in Europe. That’s not the way I see it, it’s not what others are reporting either, Europe has received her wake-up call.

Radical Islam has taken root in Europe and it has the odor of death about it. The idiocy of terrorism is being nurtured and terrorists are being recruited throughout the Continent and Great Britain.

Here are a couple of excellent articles telling the sad and frightening story of the insanity called terrorism. They tell how the recruiting is being done and how little is being done to halt it.

Read this article by Doug Sanders, posted at the Globe and Mail.com, it’s titled “Radical Islam sows its seed in Europe's fertile soil”

“PARIS -- At a pleasant café in this downtrodden corner of Paris, Mahor Chiche interrupts the conversation to point to a bald, bearded, tunic-wearing teenager passing on the sidewalk. "Look," he says, "there's a Moussaoui."

The 30-year-old law student was born to Tunisian parents in this tough neighbourhood, and he knows the particularities of its dress code. Such young men, he explains, model their appearance after Zacarias Moussaoui, the immigrant to France who was charged with being the would-be 20th hijacker in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

Mr. Moussaoui, to a surprising number of young French men here in the 19th district of Paris, is a role model.”

Europeans find it easy to agree on cooperation, but implementing the agreements is a more complex task. Sometimes it takes years. Other times, it just doesn’t happen.”

Heads-Up Australia

If you happen to live in Australia, another “heads-up” was just signaled to you. Here’s hoping you’re staying on top of this situation…

It seems a relatively new political party has big ideas about changing the way Australians live, it’s not for the better.

The “Best Party of Allah” has applied for registration in the Australian Capital Territory. The leader of the Best Party of Allah says all Australians should be living under Islamic law dictated by the Koran…

Kurt Kennedy founder of the party, said the party wanted to "implement the laws as stated in the Koran". These people want to impose sharia law upon Australia.

If there’s any question in your mind about the desirability of living (and I use the word “living” loosely) under sharia law, let me point you to a couple of prime examples.

The story was posted on the “International Christian Embassy Jerusalem” website. HERE

At least 14 houses belonging to residents of the Arab Christian town of Taiba northeast of Ramallah, were torched by Muslims from neighboring Deir Jarir on Sunday, to avenge what they termed the dishonor of a Muslim woman.

"The young men, who were holding Molotov cocktails, threw them at the houses, which began to go up in flames, one after another," said Taiba resident Buthaina Sha'aban, according to Ha'aretz.

"They vandalized parked cars and beat village residents who went out into the streets. Entire families were thrown into the street after their homes were torched. Not much remains of their property. We urge all international, Israeli, and Palestinian actors to intervene and protect village residents from the Muslim rage."

A security sources said the rampage was triggered by an incident last week in which a 30-year-old woman was made to drink poison by her relatives because they suspected her of carrying on a romance with a Christian man from the village - thought by scholars to be the city of Ephraim to which Jesus and his disciples went in John chapter 11.

The woman was quickly buried, but last Tuesday, the Palestinian Authority police exhumed the body for an autopsy angering relatives. So-called Muslim 'honor killings' are common throughout the Middle East but attract only minimal sentences due to their widespread cultural acceptance as an integral part of Islamic 'Sharia' law.”

That’s certainly food for thought, isn’t it? Perhaps Kurt Kennedy and his Best Party of Allah need to hear you say NO thank you!

Lest you still have doubts, read about a Hindu couple that have been set-up. They may loose their lives simply because they have been accused of “abusing” the Koran. A little more sharia law in action.

“HINDU COUPLE ARRESTED IN PAKISTAN FOR ALLEGED DESECRATION OF THE KORAN” by Michael Ireland, Chief Correspondent, ASSIST News Service.

Here’s an excerpt:

“A Hindu couple has been arrested by Police in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province for allegedly desecrating the Muslim‘s holy book, the Koran, by throwing it into the fields near their home on September 2, 2005.

According to the All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA), the incident occurred in Gandaf village in the Swabi district, some 150 km from Peshawar the provincial capital, when a Muslim man named Saeedullah found the copy of the Koran in the agricultural fields. He told the village council he suspected Chaman Lal and his wife Krishna

An e-mail report from APMA says a stick-wielding mob chanting anti-Hindu slogans gathered outside Lal's home and finding that the couple and other members of the family were not there, they attacked the house and almost destroyed it.

"The angry mob demanded that the couple be handed over to them; the mob blocked the road leading to the village for a couple of hours.”

John, you sent me an email last week, this was in the subject line;

“They deserve answers”

“Dear Brad,

President Bush has a major opportunity today. He's leaving Crawford to speak to the Veterans of Foreign Wars' convention in Utah. When he does, he needs to leave behind the pep talks, the open-ended "things are looking better" claims and the empty rhetoric.

It's time for the President to stand and deliver.

That's why I am asking you to support an "America Demands Answers" petition to President Bush. Starting with today's VFW speech, we're going to keep the pressure on George W. Bush until he finally addresses questions that have gone unanswered for far too long.”

Do you remember that email John?

Look, how about you ending the “empty rhetoric”, how about “It's time for John Kerry to stand and deliver.”

You may have signed the Standard Form 180, but we want to see it John! How much information did you permit to be released John?

John, you need to come clean. It’s a bit odd John, you demanding that the president stand and deliver, yet you refuse to follow your own advice…

Radical Islam: The Agenda

What do Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia and Papua New Guinea all have in common? I suppose there are more than a couple things they share in common. However, the most critical thing is a planned radical change in their futures and their cultures.

An Islamic book has been published with the English title, “Jihad and the Foreign Policy of the Khilafah State". It appears that the Indonesian-language book would be very comfortable on a shelf next to “Mein Kampf”.

It is reported that the book is readily available in Indonesian bookstores, it spells out the radical Islamic agenda for that corner of the planet. The plan is anything but peaceful and for the non-Muslim it’s downright terrifying.

The story is told in an article posted on the Assist News Service website and written by John M. Lindner, Special to ASSIST News Service.
The article written by John Lindner is entitled “ISLAMIC RADICALS AGITATE JUDGES IN INDONESIAN CHRISTIANIZATION COURT CASE”

Within the article an Indonesian correspondent known only as Ibrahim B. reports on the contents of the book.

“According to Ibrahim, "The radicals want Indonesia to be the foundation of a South East Asian Caliphate that will launch jihad against other nations such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia and Papua New Guinea until they have all submitted to Islam. To achieve this vision, all pockets of resistance must be subdued. This is why there have been jihad operations in Maluku and Central Sulawesi in the last few years and why there have been more than 100 churches closed down or destroyed in West Java alone in just the last three years--and over 30 churches in the last month."

A little more from the article;

“Ibrahim quotes page 64 of the Jihad book as saying, “It is not allowed for Muslims to fight those whom the Islamic da’wah [preaching] has not reached, rather the unbelievers must first be called to join Islam. If they reject, then they are invited to submit (live under) the ruling of the Islamic State by paying the jizyah tax [protection money - only paid by non-Muslims]. If they reject that, then war must be waged against them in order to remove any obstacle in the way of implementing the Islamic ruling system upon them.” [bracketed items added]

So, your choices are join Islam, serve the Muslims or die fighting them.

The original article that contains all of this information was written to tell the plight of three Christian women facing an Islamic court.

It’s amazing and well worth reading. We are given yet another glimpse into why we are fighting the war on terror. It has nothing to do with American foreign policy, nothing to do with oil or Islamic poverty. It has nothing to do with flushing a Koran in a toilet or forcing a detainee to stay up all night listening to heavy metal music.

It has everything to do with the bold Islamic plan to subject the entire world to Islamic rule.

A Quagmire, a Hopeless Situation.....

Cindy Sheehan became another of the left’s brief but shining stars. Supported by Michael Moore types of the radical fringe left and the adoring main stream media, Cindy exercised her right to speak freely.

It’s almost as if the anti-war crowd, small as it is, feels as if they were cheated by time. Most are too young to have been around when the mother of all anti-war movements was in full swing.. They missed out on the tie-dyed, longhaired, we seldom take a bath thing of the late 60’s and early 70’s. Those good old days when “pot” was in the air, Walter Chronkite was on the air and if you were lucky, you could spit at a GI or two…Ah, the romance of it all, if we could just bring it back.

Everyone likes to talk about a quagmire, a hopeless situation, a certain defeat is at hand. The left longs for another Vietnam, they can’t win an election, so they’d like to at least lose a war.

They miss the point of the war on terrorism and insist we must pull out. We had better set a date, a deadline to bring the troops home they whine. They are doing their level best to crank-up an anti-war machine, but it doesn’t seem to be getting any serious traction..

The liberal media is doing all they can to help, but with news like this everyday they have to report it don’t they?

“Insurgents bombed a police station, claiming the lives of five Americans and thirty-nine civilians. Loosely organized terrorist cells plant mines, snipe at American occupation forces and assassinate mayors and officials collaborating with the occupying forces struggling to rebuild the country.”

Will this country ever be rebuilt? Can peace ever be achieved?

That quote above was taken from an article written about post-war Germany..

Alexander Rubin wrote an excellent column for the Canada Free Press on line. The column is entitled “The Specter of the Werewolf:
Lessons from Post-War Germany”

Here’s a little more of that column;

“For up to two years after the Nazis surrendered on May 7, 1945, the threat of a Nazi insurgency loomed large over Germany. Towards the end of 1944, about 5,000 members of the elite Nazi SS and the Hitler Youth were recruited into a force called Werwolf and trained in terrorist tactics and guerilla warfare.

In theory, they would have aided the German Regular army by harrying Allied troops and supply lines through guerilla attacks in Allied-occupied areas, thus either allowing the Nazis to maintain a stronghold, inspire a popular uprising or forcing the Allies into a peace more agreeable to the Nazi leadership. Werwolf units were organized in cell structures, and hid caches of weapons and supplies.”

Rubin continues later in his article;

“Werwolf and other sleeper cells of fanatical Nazis carried out attacks intended to cripple economic infrastructure, slow the post-war reconstruction of Germany and discourage collaboration with Allied occupation forces trying to create a democracy. They began even before the Nazi official surrender, infiltrating towns occupied by the Allies and trying to wreak havoc behind the front lines.

Tactics were varied, and typically terrorist. Stories of assassinations, sniping attacks and sabotage rocked American troops and German civilians.

In reality, there were four major attacks by Werwolf troops in the Western zones of occupation. The new anti-Nazi Lord Mayor of Aachen was assassinated...several weeks before the Nazi surrender, on Himmler’s direct orders. Field Marshal Montgomery’s liaison officer and the Soviet commandant of Berlin were both killed in ambushes; the first was hushed up and the latter was only discovered to be an attack because the Soviet counterclaims were marred by glaring inconsistencies. A bombing of a police station claimed 44 victims.

In the east, Nazi insurgents carried out a few massacres of civilians and sniped at occupying forces, provoking brutal and indiscriminate reprisals from the Russians that quickly quelled future attacks.”

Sounds very familiar doesn’t it?

Read as Alexander Rubin compares post war Germany with the current situation in Iraq.

“The Nazi insurgency was much smaller and less effective than the current Iraqi insurgency, which is estimated as having between 12, 000 and 20, 000 hardcore supporters along with substantial passive support from a large minority of the Sunni Muslim population of Iraq.

Nonetheless, there are four critically important and practical lessons to be gleaned from the defeat of the Nazi insurgency in post-war Germany.

First, the appearance of failure in the media is not necessarily accurate. The Nazi insurgency generated a fear and panic completely out of proportion to their actual effectiveness. Radio and leaflet propaganda claimed every setback in reconstruction as one of their operations, and deaths of prominent occupation personalities as assassinations. The media gobbled it up, while the citizens of American and Germany worried.

Just as they seem to be constantly describe a ‘quagmire’ in Iraq today and report on the unpopularity of American troops, many articles in the New York Times predicted doom and gloom for Germany in 1945.

The "attitude toward the American occupation forces has swung from apathy and surface friendliness to active dislike. According to a military government official, this is finding expression in the organization of numerous local anti-American organizations throughout the zone and in a rapid increase in the number of attacks on American soldiers. There were more such attacks in the first week of October than in the preceding five months of the occupation, this source declared."

"Grave concern was expressed today by informed officials that the United States might soon lose the fruits of victory in Germany through the failure to prepare adequately for carrying out its long-term commitments…"

"An exhaustive compilation of opinions of Germans in all walks of life on their reaction to the United States occupation of their country was released…Bitter resentment and deep disappointment was voiced over the Americans' first six months of occupation..."

Substituting Iraq for Germany, would these statements seem out of place in the New York Times today? No. Yet, though they predicted imminent disaster, the reconstruction went fairly smoothly, for the most part. Media thrives on disaster and pain; it survives by creating a climate of fear that glues people to their television sets, radios and newspapers. Hence the old adage "no news is good news."

Secondly, government, and preferably popular, commitment are crucial for victory. This includes both the willingness to absorb losses and the acceptance of a financial burden for rebuilding. Casualties and setbacks are inevitable in an enterprise the scale of a war or national reconstruction. Without a willingness to absorb the casualties that will occur, nothing could ever be attempted, no matter how needed. And without adequate financial and military support, any attempts will meet with failure, making whatever losses are incurred in vain.

There is no room for half-hearted endeavors. And, regardless of the right or wrong of entering Iraq in the first place, since America has already committed itself to reconstruction, it must follow through, unless it wishes to betray the memory of those who have fallen. Without the Marshall Plan and the American military occupation safeguarding its implementation, Germany would have degenerated into a chaotic anarchy. And from that devil’s stewpot, ultimately, a totalitarian force would have emerged in either the form of a Nazi resurgence, or more likely, a Soviet encouraged communist revolution.”

The ACLU Just Doesn't Get It

The American Civil Liberties Union doesn’t seem to understand their own name.

They tout themselves as the defenders of America’s abused, maligned and offended. Of course, that also gives the ACLU the role of encouraging the abusive, the offensive and the destructive.

You are familiar with how the ACLU sides with the pedophiles, the flag burners, the anti-Christians and all the other unsavory characters that attack the fabric of our culture. Take the financial court settlement out of the equation and see how far most of this nonsense is pursued.

Back to my point, the ACLU somehow believes that they must get involved in the war on terror. They believe that they are needed to defend and protect the foreign enemies of America and freedom.

It’s not enough for them to undermine America at every opportunity here in the homeland. They somehow have morphed into the friend of America’s foreign enemies too.

The friend of America’s enemies, is not America’s friend!

The ACLU has placed itself in the forefront of the battle with the Defense Department. The ACLU is demanding Defense Department documents and photos pertaining to America’s foreign enemies held in foreign lands.

Why ACLU would befriend enemy detainees that have vowed to destroy Americans and America? Only one conclusion can be drawn.

The ACLU wishes to encourage America’s enemies.

The irony of this all is that those detainees would grab an ACLU lawyer and cut their throat as quickly as they would kill any American.

Enlightened into the Dark Ages

It appears that history is in the process of repeating itself in Europe. The sun seems to be setting and it’s dusk, night can’t be far off.
Despite the grandiose plans and dreams of the European Union, they are on the brink of new Dark Ages.

How could they know in the post World War II era that a labor force shortage could be the beginning their own undoing?

They welcomed the Muslim laborers, but those laborers did little to assimilate into the European culture.

As the Europeans became more secularized, more socialized, more liberal and less Christian, new rules replaced the old. Political correctness reigns and on Sundays, empty churches are easy to find.

The terrorist attacks in Europe are just another phase of a well laid out plan to conquer the continent for Islam. Darkness is drawing nigh.

Dr. Patrick Sookhdeo, International Director of Barnabas Fund, wrote a gripping article posted on the Barnabas Fund website.

The title of the article is “The Islamization of Europe.”

Dr. Sookhdeo writes:

“On Friday 20th May 2005 a crowd of some 300 Muslims burned a wooden cross outside the American embassy in London. This was part of a protest against the rumoured desecration of a Qur’an by American soldiers in Guantanamo Bay, during which British and American flags were also burned. Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of this event was that it was not deemed newsworthy, receiving little attention in the national press.

The whole scenario is reminiscent of what happens in so many Muslim-majority countries: a rumour of an insult to Islam, a violent and blasphemous anti-Christian reaction, police watching idly, and a complete lack of public interest let alone outrage. It could have been Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia or Northern Nigeria. But it was the UK.”

Do you find it strange that the world’s main stream media simply didn’t report this story?

The article continues;

“Europe is undergoing a rapid process of change as Muslims make their presence felt in politics, economics, law, education and the media. While there is a wide range of attitudes amongst Muslims in Europe, with many who are broadly content with the status quo and just want to live their lives peacefully, others are striving deliberately to drive forward the changes. As a result of the efforts of the latter, Europe is gradually being transformed into a society in which Islam takes its place, not just as an equal alongside the many other faith communities, but often as the dominant player. This is not purely, or even primarily, a matter of numbers, but is more a matter of control of the structures of society. It is not happening by chance but is the result of a careful and deliberate strategy by certain Muslim leaders.

Though the effects are only now becoming noticeable, the planning was done decades ago. In 1980 the Islamic Council of Europe published a book called Muslim Communities in Non-Muslim States which clearly explained the Islamic agenda in Europe. When Muslims live as a minority they face theological problems, because classical Islamic teaching always presupposed a context of Islamic dominance; hence the need for guidance on how to live in non-Muslim states. The instructions given in the book told Muslims to get together and organise themselves with the aim of establishing a viable Muslim community based on Islamic principles. This is the duty of every individual Muslim living within a non-Muslim political entity. They should set up mosques, community centres and Islamic schools. At all costs they must avoid being assimilated by the majority. In order to resist assimilation, they must group themselves geographically, forming areas of high Muslim concentration within the population as a whole. Yet they must also interact with non-Muslims so as to share the message of Islam with them. Every Muslim individual is required to participate in the plan; it is not allowed for anyone simply to live as a “good Muslim” without assisting the overall strategy. The ultimate goal of this strategy is that the Muslims should become a majority and the entire nation be governed according to Islam. (M. Ali Kettani “The Problems of Muslim Minorities and their Solutions” in Muslim Communities in Non-Muslim States (London: Islamic Council of Europe, 1980) pp.96-105)

Not all Muslims would support this action plan. The more secularized are happy to become integrated within the majority society. Even amongst those who agree on the ultimate goal of creating an Islamic state, there are differences about methodology i.e. whether this should be a slow and peaceful transition, or whether it should be hastened by means of political dominance or even – say some – by violence.

Despite the variety of opinion amongst Muslims, it is not hard to recognize the different stages of the Islamic Council of Europe’s strategy being put into practice within today’s Europe. Muslims do tend to live in tightly concentrated areas, and show little sign of integrating into wider society. Saudi funding is paying for the erection of large and beautiful mosques, staffed by imams brought over to Europe from the “home countries”. Sweden’s third largest city, Malmø, is effectively ruled by violent gangs of Muslims, and some of the Muslim residents of the city still cannot read or write Swedish though they have lived there for 20 years. Denmark has recently seen the Nordgårdsskolen in Aarhus become the first school in the country to have 100% Muslim pupils. Britain’s Muslim population (variously estimated at between 1.6 and 3 million) is concentrated in three areas: north-west England, the midlands and London. In some of these areas Muslims are now targeting the remaining Christian presence, arsoning churches, physically attacking church leaders and their property; the aim seems to be to “cleanse” these areas of non-Muslims.”

It is well beyond the time to turn on the lights before America allows herself to slip into the Dark Ages. Burnt to the Ground

Back in May and early June the Muslim world and the liberal media were aghast. There were reports that American Military guards at Gitmo had abused the Islamic holy book, the Koran.

There was a mighty outcry of the offended. I posted an article entitled “Those Holy Books” you can read it HERE.

I’m certain that all those that were so concerned will again raise their voices now.

If abusing a Koran is offensive, how offended would one be if a Mosque were burned to the ground? What sacrilege! Imagine if ten Mosques were burned to the ground, who could tolerate it? There could be no rest until the culprits were found that performed the outrage. What punishment would be enough? How would justice ever be served?

I realize that this thought stymies the human mind, but try to imagine one hundred Mosques set ablaze, one hundred and fifty destroyed by an arsons hand…

Now read this excerpt;

“Last year, 1,500 Nigerian Christians were massacred by Islamic fundamentalists, 173 churches were burnt to the ground and 75,000 people were displaced.” The article goes on to report about the survivors left in the aftermath of this massacre.

Please, this is not a call to riot in the streets, enough damage has been done..

This is a call to those that were so outraged by the Koran abuse story to raise their voices again. This is a call to the liberal media to take up the cause. Your disdain for injustice is well known.

In The Terrorist's Nest

An incredible story of the spreading of hatred and the encouragement of terrorism appeared in The Times Online.

The story comes from a unique perspective. A reporter from The Sunday Times went undercover for 2 months and posed as a prospective member of a group of radical Muslims called the “Savior Sect” in London.

It is a chilling thought that meetings described in this post are happening all across Europe and most likely in North America.

Prime Minister Tony Blair has taken a tough stand against those Muslim clerics that have been preaching hate in the UK. It seems that there will be more arrests and deportations in the near future for the radical Islamic fundamentalist.

It really is past time to take the bull by the proverbial horns, time to let it be known the party is over.

Read how these young radicals proudly use the English welfare system to survive, milking the very system they are intent on destroying. They’re living off the very people they wish to exterminate, spending their handout, making insidious plans.

Here’s an excerpt;

“He discovered that the core of the group consisted of about 40 young men guided by a handful of spiritual mentors. Many are of Bangladeshi origin, jobless and living in council flats in east London. They use aliases, taking the names of the prophet Muhammad’s companions.
At their meetings — which often included school-age teenagers — they were fed a constant diet of propaganda warning that the kuffar are out to destroy them.
Integration with British society is scorned, as is any form of democratic process. Followers are encouraged to exploit the benefits system. They avoid jobs which could bring them into contact with western women or might lead them to contribute to the economy of a nation they are taught to despise.”

Quoting them verbatim;

“Occasionally sipping a can of Fanta and gesticulating wildly, he declared: “I am a terrorist. As a Muslim, of course I am a terrorist.”
It was not just our reporter’s group who were present. Schoolchildren in T-shirts bearing the words “mujaheddin” and “warriors of Allah” listened intently as Brooks said he did not wish to die “like an old woman” in bed.
“I want to be blown into pieces,” he declared, “with my hands in one place and my feet in another.”

The ACLU, Sharing “Kindred Spirits” and Common Goals with Terrorists

Here’s a news flash you may have missed..

The American Civil Liberties Union has gone international. Perhaps it’s time for them to modify their name to The World Civil Liberties Union.

They have done such a swell job of attacking and undermining much of what’s right in America. They’ve defended what is un-American, perverted and harmful, but why should the ACLU limit their mayhem to America and Americans?

The ACLU has a keen interest in a prison in Iraq, Abu Ghraib.
I suppose it’s a matter of “kindred spirits” and common goals, that draws the ACLU to the hater’s and would be destroyers of America in that prison.

The ACLU has demanded files, photos and videos that the Department of Defense has pertaining to prisoner abuse at Abu Ghraib. The prison and its prisoners are in Iraq, the detainees can in no way be construed to be Americans and do not have the protected rights of Americans. The government is not giving the whiners everything they want, but the ACLU claims they have a right to it.

The battle cry is the Freedom of Information Act.

If those detainees have a clue about the ACLU, they will write to their congressman and complain. (oh yeah, they don’t have congressmen).

If the ACLU gets in there, the inmates in Abu Ghraib may not be photographed again with dog collars, but they can forget about praying to Allah. They’ll have no more prayer on government property..

Call it Profiling or Call it Common Sense....

“Pardon me sir, I’ll need to check your bags.. You see, you bear a strong resemblance to the last several homicide bombers..”

It’s hard to remember the last time a little old lady with blue hair exploded a bomb on a subway train.

How wonderfully refreshing, the British Transport Police in London are using common sense. They seem to have dispensed with the politically correct nonsense. It seems that saving lives and stopping terrorists is going to take priority over sensitive feelings.

It’s time America followed suit, the world is far too dangerous to continue playing the politically correct game. Of course the usual suspects will whine and cry foul, the ACLU and their fellow travelers. Let them whine, we have a war to win.

The British have their whiners too, but they’ll just have to make the adjustment and get over it..

The BBC News UK edition featured this article titled: “Searches to target ethnic groups.”

“People from certain ethnic groups are more likely to be stopped and searched on London transport in the wake of the bombings, British Transport Police say.
A force spokesman said communities were not being singled out, but police have to "target the people we think may be involved" in bomb attacks.”

“It is going to be young men, not exclusively, but it may be disproportionate when it comes to ethnic groups.”

Well bully for them, common sense reigns!

Taxing Churches and Taxing Patience, It’s the ACLU Again…

...But They Support It For Satanic Witches

Just reading the two statements above should wake up the Christians on both the left and right! And after learning this myself, the question came to me....how could anyone say this organization is not anti-Christian? I know all of you are wanting to see the evidence yourself, and while I don't have the official policy to refer you to, I have learned this information from a very well respected author, William A. Donahue, in his book Twilight of Libery/The Legacy of The ACLU. Donahue has attained their policy guide and is one of the most trusted experts on the ACLU.

So let the story telling begin....

Recently down in Dixie, the ACLU have been discussing revoking the tax exemption of certain Churches. However, what they really want is to revoke it on all Christian Churches. Its in their history, along with their bias. They don't hate religion, just Christianity.

We will start out with the ACLU's official policy on the tax exemption of Churches. Policy #92, "Religious Bodies' Tax Exemption"...it states, "The ACLU opposes the tax-exemption of all churches..."Source

During the 1988 presidential campaign the ACLU was brought under the spotlight. Michael Dukakis, the democrat nominee, proudly stated, "I'm a card-carrying member of the American Civil Liberties Union." These words would soon come back to haunt him. I will not focus too much on this campaign other than using it as evidence of the ACLU's position on the tax exemption of churches. However, Dukakis's association with this group proved to be a major factor in his defeat.

During the first debate, Peter Jennings of ABC asked George Bush why he continued to make an issue out of Dukakis's membership in the ACLU. Bush replied that he didn't like most of the ACLU's positions and offered four of them. We will just focus on the one we are talking about right now. Bush said, "I don't think they're right to try to take away the tax exemption of the Catholic Church."

The ACLU don't deny their position! Norman Dorsen, president of the American Civil Liberties Union from 1976 to 1991, refuted Bush's statements, and said that the ACLU opposes tax exemption for all churches, not just the Catholic Church.Source

Here is a little more history on the issue from Twilight of Liberty.

"ACLU founder Roger Baldwin once told me that the ACLU's desire to strip the churches of their tax exempt status was "very foolish." But in 1969, some nineteen years after Baldwin stepped down as executive director, the Union adopted its first policy opposing "tax exemption for church property which is used exclusively for religious purposes.' In the latest policy on this subject, it makes no difference to the Union whether church property is not used exclusively for religious purposes, all are denied: "The ACLU opposes tax benefits for religious bodies", seven examples are listed for clarification, including the benefit of tax exemption."Source

"In 1970, the year after the ACLU issued its first policy opposing the tax exempt status for churches, it accepted the advice of church and state extremist Leo Pfeffer and drafted a brief opposing tax exemptions in Waltz v. Tax Commission. In 1987, the ACLU Foundation and the New York Civil Liberties Union filed an amicus brief in support of Abortion Rights Mobilization to secure standing in a suit challenging the tax exempt status of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church was charged with violating its tax-exempt status by taking a stand against abortion."Source

Meanwhile with the Witches

"While the ACLU was taking aim at the Catholic Church's tax exempt status, the Union affiliate in Providence, Rhode Island, came out in favor of a tax exemption for Satanists."Source They went and got a tax administator to rule that a coven of witches were entitled the same tax-exemption as churches had. This is pure hypocrisy. The ACLU's involvement in this case clearly shows that they will defend the rights of the occult. Many Christians wonder why they are not as acommodating to our interests."

Now if we were to follow some misguided philosphy of the seperation of church and state, one might could rationalize their policy on a church's tax exempt status. One could also rationalize a posistion of tax exemption to all religions. But their is no logical reasoning that one could take to defend both of these positions. It is pure hypocrisy, and proof that the ACLU is an enemy of Christianity.

I question their tax exempt-status! I think it's time for Christians on the left and right to wake up to the ACLU's agenda!
