Jihadists In Your Home Town

As America watches Donald Trump kick some hapless wannabe to the curb, Ted Kennedy again proves he just doesn’t get it. It’s just life as usual in America.

Now if you’re paying attention, if you do a little reading, if you take the time, have the interest, you’re concerned about your future. Hopefully that’s why you’re reading this.

I don’t know about you, but I go to church on a regular basis, done it for years. It’s a part of our family life; we just go to church. In all the years, through all those sermons and Sunday School lessons I was never told to hate anyone. Hate sin, for sure, but not the sinner. We’re taught to love the sinner, pray for the “lost”.

Special offerings were taken at church for the victims of the Asian tsunami. Most of those souls are Muslim, Hindu or Buddhist, not that many Christians it seems to me. But we gave and we hurt at their loss.

There’s a report just being released that concerns our Muslim friends’ right here in America. You need to read it!!!

It appears that the Muslims aren’t content just to live here in Jesus Land. They have plans for you and me. If you’re not a Muslim, they’re being taught to hate you. They are making plans to change America, the land of the free, that has taken them in. They’re working from within to destroy us.

Freedom House produced this report, its 95 pages long and it’s in pdf form. The title of the report is "Saudi publications on Hate Ideology Fill American Mosques"

Guaranteed to stun you, the Wahhabi brand of Islam being supported and promoted by Saudi Arabia in mosques around America needs to be addressed right now. Read the complete report, I promise you that you will be telling others about it. Link to it here..

Fundamentally Right wants to thank those heroes over at Freedom House. America is indebted to you.

America also owes a debt of thanks to the team over at Jihad Watch.org as well.

Our priorities are revealed by the links on the right of this page. We support the troops winning freedom for those that have yet to possess it. We support those out of uniform defending and protecting it here on the home front.

First Amendment Freedoms Under Attack Again

The radical left fringe, anti-Christian movement continues try to force the gay agenda on America. Christians had better heed the call to unite and rise- up now. This set back must be seen as temporary. If you're not speaking out, now is your time.

Thanks to the World Net Daily for this article.

Churches barred from 'gay' discrimination

New measure requires religious groups to hire homosexuals

Posted: January 22, 2005

Illinois churches are protesting a new state law that bars them from "discriminating" against homosexuals, contending it robs Christians of their First Amendment freedoms.

Gov. Rod Blagojevich signed the bill into law yesterday amid a demonstration led by the Illinois Family Institute, or IFI, a non-profit group affiliated with Focus on the Family, Family Research Council and Alliance Defense Fund.

The measure adds "sexual orientation" to the state law that bars discrimination based on race, religion and similar traits in areas such as jobs and housing.

The bill was signed to loud cheers and a standing ovation from about 150 homosexual-rights supporters who see it as a human-rights issue.

"This legislation sends a clear message that we will not allow our citizens to be discriminated against," Blagojevich said in a statement.
"What we're doing today is older than scripture: Love thy neighbor," the governor told the audience yesterday, according to the Associated Press. "It's what Jesus said when he gave his Sermon on the Mount: 'Do unto others what you would have others do unto you."'
Illinois is the 15th state to prohibit discrimination based on "sexual orientation."

A Fundamentally Right Truth

It sometimes takes man thousands of years to discover a truth. If we would only listen to and believe God we could save a lot of time, effort, money and grief.

This article really nails it.

It was taken from the National Post found at canada.com

Thanks to them for the great information and for supporting what we already knew.

Western aid will never end world poverty

Steven Edwards
National Post
January 19, 2005
THE UNITED NATIONS - In high-school geography classes a generation ago, students learned the key to ending global poverty was to inject huge amounts of cash into the Third World to trigger economic "takeoff."
Billions of dollars have been poured into the developing world in the past 30 years, yet billions of people still live in abject poverty, the most desperate south of the Sahara.
That has not stopped the United Nations from proposing rich countries more than double their foreign aid spending to help the impoverished.
Promised handouts for 2006 of US$87-billion should be immediately increased to US$135-billion and reach US$195-billion by 2015, says a new report, which has been three years in the making.

The major premise for this demand is that 34 years ago, wealthy nations pledged to raise overseas aid budgets to 0.7% of gross national product, then renewed the promise in 2000 at the Millennium Summit and at a 2002 conference in Mexico.
But in calling for more handouts the world body ignores the central lesson of the last three decades -- the countries that forged ahead economically created conditions for investment themselves, rather than relying on the international equivalent of pogey.

Attracting investment has been a key goal for many Asian and Latin American nations, and their economic progress has been remarkable.
Many African countries, meanwhile, continue to argue the West "owes them," in part as compensation for the slave trade and colonial rule. Billions have already been sent to Africa, much of it disappearing into the sinkhole of corruption. For ambitious Africans, joining the kleptocrats and tyrants is a faster track to wealth than launching a legitimate business.
The result is a continent where incomes per head and life expectancy are actually falling. A recent study by the World Bank named only South Africa and Botswana as places where businesses can expect to operate with any level of normality.

The UN report was compiled by Jeffrey Sachs, a Columbia University economics professor, and a team of what the UN describes as 265 "leading development experts."
"We are not asking for one new promise from any country in the world," Mr. Sachs said on Monday as he gave Kofi Annan, the UN Secretary-General, a copy of the report.
"We only want them to follow through on what they promised at the Millennium Summit."
The report's title -- Investing in Development -- seems to suggest its authors have bought into the need for free enterprise to boost development. But in this case the return for the investors would not be dividends that encourage more investment, but a warm feeling the world would be safer if everyone were living comfortably.
Although the report is being presented as part of an international "security bargain" for the West, it admits increasing cash flows to the governments of failed or failing states, or to highly corrupt countries, is a complete waste.
It names Belarus, Myanmar, North Korea and Zimbabwe as places where aid should be channeled only through charities that can ensure it reaches people in need. This essentially translates to emergency relief.

So if such states are excluded, won't they pose an ever greater security risk?
The report's authors say the West shouldn't worry that past aid "investments" have been wasted, and provide a 3,000-page blueprint showing how the new money could be put to better use.

Development aid should have specific objectives, starting with spending on "quick win" projects, such as supplying mosquito nets in malaria-affected parts of Africa. Heavy spending would be on infrastructure, such as roads, and improving health and education services.

While well-intentioned, the report prompts a number of obvious questions. If massive cash injections alone could end poverty and make the world secure, peace and prosperity would reign throughout the Middle East.
Since Arab oil-producing countries raised the price of oil dramatically in the 1970s, money has poured into the region. Yet poverty remains, and it is one of the most violent regions on Earth.

Conversely, China's creation of capitalist enclaves has led to world-beating economic growth rates in that country, where famine once killed millions.
Development in Latin American economies has come not only from investment following economic liberalization, but also through the awakening of the entrepreneurial spirit of millions of Hispanic immigrants in the United States. Their earnings, invested directly through their families, have fuelled a veritable house building boom in many parts of South and Central America.

The UN report rightly calls for giving developing countries access to Western markets through freer international trade. This would require rich countries to stop protecting certain coddled industries, such as textiles.
There is also no substitute for quick injections of money for emergency relief, for example, for victims of the tsunami. But overseas aid should focus on helping people to help themselves through the only proven creator of wealth -- free enterprise.

Handouts are a thing of the past.

Jesus said it all in Mark 14:7

Mk 14:7
The poor you will always have with you, and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me.

I think it comes down to the old "buy em a fish sandwich today or show em how to catch their own fish for the rest of their lives". It's all about freedom and free enterprise.

But we knew that.....

Lunatic Fringe

I don't want to seem like I'm ranting and losing patience with the far left fringe, but I think I am.

I did a little research and found, this is what they're up to next week.
The lunatic fringe plans an attempt to embarrass our country and our President on Inauguration Day.

It is totally un-American and extremely immature, even for the left. They are spreading the word through the Internet to the "fringlings" to protest the inauguration of President Bush. As if that will change something.

They are suggesting that students stay home from class January 20th in protest. They want workers to call in sick in protest and they recommend that shoppers stay home and as they put it "don't spend a dime."
Don't buy gasoline that day.
I've gotten their silly message very clearly. If you're a shop owner or merchant, you get the message. If you're a parent paying for a college education, your student had better get the message.

The left is willing to sacrifice your money, a merchants livelihood, and a students education to say what we already know.. The left lost the election and they're unhappy.

And you want America to take you seriously? What was said about John Kerry can be said about you as well. You're "Unfit to Lead." Now go to your room!

You can bet this guy will be at his desk, he'll be stopping to gas up the SUV and his daughter had better be in class. (no doubt, daddy raised her Right)

Wahhabi Islam

This article appeared in frontpagemag.com Jan.14th.

It will open your eyes.

Saudi Terror Conference, Part III

By Steven Stalinsky

Middle East Media Research Institute | January 14, 2005

“This perverse ideology [Wahhabi Islam] has spread all over Saudi Arabia, in the schools, the mosques … [and] satellite channels… There’s a videotape now circulating in Saudi Arabia of a boy age 10 or less [in a Saudi orphanage]. He is asked, 'who is your role model?' And he answers, 'Osama Bin Laden.'”

This damaging statement was not spoken by an opponent of the Saudi regime, but by Saudi Prince Khaled Al-Faysal on Al-Arabiyya TV on July 14th.

As part of MEMRI’s TV Monitoring Project (www.memritv.org), Saudi government-controlled television channels are continually monitored. These channels include shows with leading Saudi religious figures, professors, members of the royal family, government leaders, and intellectuals. Constant themes include calls for the annihilation of Christian and Jews, rampant anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism, and support for jihad.

With the Saudi government preparing to convene an international counter-terrorism conference February 5-8, which will include participants from leading state-sponsored terrorism regimes such as Iran – as well as reports by the Saudi Foreign Ministry that the U.S. is sending a large delegation – it is important to review the content of the Saudi media, particularly TV, as it relates to terrorism and hatred toward non-Muslims.

A recent example of hatred for Christians and Westerners is Saudi TV’s coverage of the tsunami disaster. The Saudi embassy in D.C. boasted about the numerous telethons that were held to support victims of the natural disaster. However, these telethons included influential Saudi figures that explained that the celebration of Christmas and New Years is what led to the death of over 150,000 “infidels.”

Ibrahim Al-Bashar, an advisor to the Saudi Justice Minister, spoke on Al-Majd TV on January 5th, and said that the countries hit by the tsunami were being punished by Allah for lying, sinning, and being infidels. Saudi Sheikh Fawzan Al-Fawzan, who taught at the Saudi Supreme Court of Justice, also said to Al-Majd TV on December 31 that Allah's destruction of these countries was timed to coincide with Christmas – a time of rampant fornication and perversion. Saudi cleric Muhammad Al-Munajjid, Imam of the ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Aziz Mosque in Khobar, claimed first to Al-Majd on January 1 that Allah’s took revenge on the "criminals'" celebration - the Christmas holidays - and elaborated on January 6th that “perversions” during the Christmas holidays were to blame.

God and the Tsunami

Many questions have been asked regarding the recent horrific Asian tsunami that took so many lives December 26th. The latest body count is estimated to be somewhere around 160,000 and expected to rise even higher. The devastation is truly incomprehensible; it’s more than the human mind can grasp.

It wasn’t long after the earthquake and the series of killer waves ended that the finger pointing began. Most of it absolute nonsense… America was somehow responsible because of the “global warming” we caused with our SUV’s. Israel and the United States have been testing nuclear devises and managed to create the earthquake that caused the waves that brought the death. The most absurd explanation/accusation that I read came from the Muslim world. When Christians celebrate Christmas, Easter or New Years with all the parties and whatever else we do, it angers Allah. So, Allah causes earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, floods and tidal waves to punish us.

You have to wonder why Allah punished the Hindus, Buddhists and the followers of Islam for the Christian's celebrations. Many Christians were lost in Asia because of the December tsunami to be sure, but not in near the numbers of the non-Christians. Hmmm? It’s the same old blame America first game and it’s ridiculous on its face.

So, what happened? The living God, the only God, the God of the Jews and Christians is proclaimed as a loving God. He is. So how can He permit things such as this to happen?

As most readers will understand, the Christians worship a Trinity. That is God the Father, God the Son (Jesus the Christ) and the Holy Spirit, all three comprising the one God. Our God acts in unison, with one voice, if Jesus said it, it comes from the Father. That’s more theology that I want to get into at this point.

What happen December 26th in Asia was simply a sign from God. It’s the fulfilling of prophecy, not a lack of love. You see, we are in the “End Times.” No man can tell you exactly when the end will come but God said to look for the signs of the end.

The following scripture text is from the Book of Luke, the New International Version translation. By clicking on the link on the lower right that says "Bible" you can look it up yourself.

Luke 21:7 "Teacher," they asked, (speaking to Jesus) "when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?"

Luke 21:8 He replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, `I am he,' and, `The time is near.’ Do not follow them. 9 When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away."
Luke 21:10 Then he said to them: "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
This is the way the American Standard Version of the Bible translates Luke 21:11;

Luke 21:11 and there shall be great earthquakes, and in divers places famines and pestilences; and there shall be terrors and great signs from heaven.
Notice that word “terrors,” think “terrorist,” I don’t think that’s too big of a stretch.

But still we wonder why so many innocent children’s lives were taken during that tsunami. Why those people? Why there? Why now?

The Bible tells us no one is exempt in Matthew chapter 5 verses 43-45

Matthew 5:43 "You have heard that it was said, `Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
The sun and the rain have no favorites, we can all get caught by them both.

Who can understand God? We can question, though I doubt we would understand the answer. It’s God’s timing; He’s preparing for Christ’s return. God’s sending an alert to the world. The end is coming, prepare yourselves. Salvation is available, you can be prepared. Just click the word “Salvation,” you will never regret it.

God has been giving mankind the “heads-up” for a very long time. You see, God is a very loving Father. His desire is that none be lost so He gives warnings. Because of the earthquake and tsunami, many will seek answers and help. God has their answer; He is their help.

The Father sent His Son Jesus Christ to be sacrificed for the sins of all. No one ever needs to be lost, but a freedom giving, freedom-loving Father gives us all a choice. Accept His love and all that goes with it and be free or reject His love and remain in chains and be lost. God has given each one a choice. If you don’t decide, you have made your decision.

I don’t want to sound cold concerning those that were lost and those that are left. It breaks my heart to think of the helpless, the homeless and those that feel hopeless. We can offer our prayers, send our gifts and grieve with them. We can not reasonably place blame for the tragedy on anyone; it’s simply a sign of the times.

Another Year Of Christian Persecution

2004: Tragedy & Triumph For Persecuted Christians

Jerry Dykstra
Open Doors with Brother Andrew

"This is our last cry for help. If the world will not listen to us now then, they do not care. Where are the Christians of the world when we need their voices and help?"
Those were the words of an Iraqi Christian following the Aug. 1 attacks on five churches. The bombings killed 11 people and wounded over 50.
The bombings, killings and harassment of Christians in Iraq by Muslim fundamentalists continued after the Aug. 1 attacks, resulting in the exodus of thousands of Christians to such countries as Syria and Jordan.
"When one of us Christians leaves the house, one doesn't know if he will return safe and sound," another Iraqi said. "Christian families are afraid for their children and women. Because of this, many are fleeing from the country.”
In a review of events during 2004 in the Persecuted Church, Iraqi Christians took the world's spotlight; caught in the crossfire of the increased violence in that besieged country.
But there was also significant persecution in such countries as Nigeria, Eritrea, Vietnam and China, as well as in many other countries worldwide.

In Nigeria, Muslim fundamentalists increased their attacks, resulting in the deaths of at least 1,500 Christians. Over 9,000 Christian children lost their parents. Open Doors mounted a campaign to rush food and clothing and Christian materials to the homeless in Nigeria.
In 2004, there was a brutal crackdown against evangelical Christians in Eritrea. Since the start of the year, hundreds of believers have been arrested, subjected to interrogation and tortured. Over 200 Christians remain in prison.

In Vietnam, a new restrictive religious law targeting Christians went into effect Nov. 15. Also, Mennonite Pastor Nguyen Hong Quang and five other leaders were given prison sentences for meeting with other Christians and supposedly resisting arrest. All were reportedly beaten while in police custody, according to Compass Direct.

The situation in China over the past six months has been troubling as there has been a concerted effort to clamp down on unregistered house churches, especially in rural areas. Hundreds of church leaders have been arrested, including Pastor Zhang Rongliang earlier this month. He is one of China's best-known and most respected house church leaders.
While there were tears and sorrows among members of the Persecuted Church around the world in 2004, there was also rejoicing in how believers stood firm in their faith and how millions of Christians in the West supported their brothers and sisters - through their prayers and letters.
"I often think of Soner Onder, who was released from a Turkish prison this year," says Open Doors USA President Dr. Carl Moeller. "He was a man who made a decision to stand firm for over 12 years while he was falsely imprisoned. And he said the prayers and cards of thousands of Christians were a real encouragement to him.
"Then I think of Christians in Nigeria, China, Vietnam and all over the world who also faced a critical decision in 2004: 'Will I continue to serve God, or will I deny him because of persecution?’ The tens of thousands of believers who made a decision to continue to serve the Lord made 2004 a year of triumph for the Persecuted Church."

Other highlights of 2004 included the early release of Indonesian Pastor Rinaldy Damanik from prison; the release of Indian national Brian O'Connor from a prison in Saudi Arabia and the involvement of thousands of Christians during the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP) on Nov. 14.
An estimated 200 million Christians worldwide suffer interrogation, arrest and even death for their faith in Christ, with another 200 to 400 million facing discrimination and alienation. Open Doors serves and strengthens the Persecuted Church in the world's most difficult areas through Bible and Christian literature distribution, leadership training and assistance, Christian community development and prayer and presence ministry.

To partner with Open Doors, call toll free at 888-5-BIBLE-5 (524-2535) or go to their web site at www.odusa.org."

The above article appears over at crosswalk.com. Thanks to the fine folks at that web site for all the work they do pushing back the frontiers of spiritual darkness. Much of the world, perhaps America most of all, is unaware of the persecution Christians are suffering. The message needs to be shouted out and the perpetrators need to be pointed out.

Please make use of the links listed under “Christian” on the right to investigate the subject yourself.

Now, can we move on?

I admit it. I was wrong. I didn’t think anyone would be foolish enough to challenge the count of Ohio’s electoral votes. However, not willing to disappoint those lost way out in Farleftfieldville, we had a couple silly enough to answer the call.

Ohio’s own Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones did her level best to embarrass the good people of the Buckeye State with her whining.
With representation by the likes of Tubbs Jones on national television, Ohio just became a brighter shade of red. Ohio is the heart of Jesus Land, but Stephanie; you’re pushing the forgiveness thing to the edge. We may forgive you…but you’ll be remembered in the voting booth next time.

Never one to let common sense or reality stand in her way, the very liberal Barbara Boxer chimed in. I suppose it was just grandstanding, being the rebel, the “everybody notice me!” in Senator Boxer that made her do it. Babs, honey, it was foolish.

The next thing Barbara will be spouting will be how Republican partisanship is dividing the nation.. Shame on you.

You two even embarrassed your own party,

"It's not often that I find myself rising in disagreement with (Boxer), but I must today emphatically disagree," said Sen. Mark Dayton, D-Minn.
"I believe that those involved in this, citizens from around the country with all their good intentions, are seriously misguided and leading us all into a very unfortunate precedent," he said.

This is how you will be remembered; misguided, mean spirited, selfish and always totally partisan. The good news is America will not forget and there will be other elections. Keep on digging, the hole’s getting deeper and deeper.

Somebody, hand Mike Moore a Kleenex….

If there’s one thing Americans don’t like, it’s a sore loser. You’d think the far left would get the picture at last, but they don’t.

January 20th 2005 will see George W. Bush inaugurated again as the President of the United States. The Democrats gave it a valiant effort but it wasn’t enough to carry the day or win the election last November 2nd. George W. Bush was elected by a margin of votes large enough to settle the matter in the minds of most Americans.

Of course, the left was disappointed at John Kerry’s defeat. They had spent a lot money and effort in their attempt to replace George W. I believe that the Dems wanted to win so badly they couldn’t imagine losing. They somehow felt that if wanted it badly enough, that they deserved the victory. They didn’t get a victory and there’s no grace in their defeat.

With the holidays, the on going story of the tragic Asian Tsunami Disaster and the War on terror, the November elections seem like a long time ago. Bush was re-elected so lets move on.

Ah, but not so..the Libs want to keep revisiting the election. It’s like if you watch a movie and don’t like the way it ended, you keep watching it over and over, hoping that it will come out your way after while.

Kids, it ain’t gonna happen. It’s history, it’s been recorded, and the rest of the country (Jesus Land) is on to other things.

Still we have The Congressional Black Caucus looking for a Senator to stand up and protest the November election of President Bush. The idea is to slow down the certification of the election.
It just adds to the appearance of the liberal’s role as losers.. No one in his or her right mind is going to hang themselves out like that, Congressional Black Caucus or not.

Now our old friend Michael Moore is urging everyone he can to go to Washington DC January 20th. To protest and to show resistance to the Bush Administration’s policies is their only purpose.

I certainly will be around in two years and again in four years to remind the voting public of the Lefts antics now.

It’s beginning to wear thin, these sore losers, the whining, crying and complaining.

It’s downright un-American and it’s offensive to me… When I was a kid and we ran across a sore loser, we wouldn’t let him play the game with us again. We’d run him off, “go on home ya big crybaby”….. That’s a thought..

Here’s an idea for you unhappy Libs. Instead of spending your money and wasting your time coming to DC January 20th take that money and donate it to a Tsunami Relief Fund. Do something pro-American.

In the mean time, wipe your noses, dry your eyes and join the rest of the nation.. There’s room for you in Jesus Land, just stop the infernal whining.
